I reckon us and Arse battling for third (Podolski a good signing if he stats fit...Giroud, mmm). Spuds and Fulham battling for top 6,7
I'm going one further, I'll stick the final positions in. And I'm not going to be popular....! 3 - Arsenal (If Wenger sorts his defence out, otherwise swap with Chelsea) 4 - Chelsea 8 - Spurs (Too many players will follow 'Arry) 11 - Fulham 12 - QPR 16 - 18 - West Ham, defending on who they sign.
think your wrong about too many players will follow Harry, even Gomes is saying he want's to stay now Harry's gone, worst luck
Seems the most sensible order but will reserve judgement to see whether Arsenal and Spurs can hold onto their best players and who else is signed (Hulk etc)
Confident we can better the Goons/Spuds. 3. Chels 4. Goons --- 6. Spuds --- 9. Fulham --- 14. Spammers 15. QPR
I think it is too close to call again. Chelsea might struggle if Torres doesn't deliver and the manager might revert to his WBA form. Who can tell with Arsenal: with Wilshere fit, RVP staying, Podolski performing and Oxlade-Chamberlain developing further, they could be very strong up front, but their defence is dodgy. Spurs could improve further especially if we can sign Vertonghen, Adebayor and another striker, with Walker, Sandro and Kaboul having more experience and some talented youngsters coming on, but the manager is crucial as is replacing anyone who "follows 'Arry" (although this shouldn't be an issue as Levy will extract every last £££ for anyone who goes). I think City will be hard to catch, but Utd should be more in the mix. I'd have Spurs, Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal battling it out for 2nd to 5th, hopefully in that order. Fulham, QPR and West Ham around mid-table, in that order.
Massive appointment for you lads, if you get the right man, and he keeps the big lads and gets the right strikers, you could get above Arsenal. I personally think Chelsea will score for fun, regardless of Torres, Marin Hazard, Mata & Lampard could easily put 60 in the bank between them, add a few between Terry , Ivanovic and Torres, and that's a huge pile of goals. If Arsenal lose RVP, and think Podolski can replace him, then they will be significantly weaker than last year, good as Podolski is , he's rarely been a matchwinner, and his big move to Bayern ended in disaster.
