Messy. 1000 was a joke of a race.

The guineas was just a freak race I think, btw, the winner was well regarded as a 2yo, not surprised in the slightest she won like that, it was a very weak field and she has finally fulfilled her potential.

I keep saying it, you can disregard all form over the Guineas weekend at Newmarket including Camalots. The ground was so attrocious that you needed stay 12f to get the mile.

You're right -the lottery is easier to win than piicking a winner at Royal Ascot <wah>

Homecoming Queen had a proper jockey on her in the 1000, that's the difference *

I note Danadana doesn't go in the 4.25. Kirthill now shortening a bit.

Sorry Shergs you can't pin that on Joseph O'Brian, no Jockey could have got that horse to win or even place today. Freak result due to ground in Guineas.

Funny how Shergar didn't mention anything about O'Brien when he won on So You Think the other day.

Hope you are wrong on this one Joe. I originally thought Danadana but switched to Gatewood in the hope that he won't be inconvenienced by the ground.

Have backed Beachfire E.W here - won it last year and stable in fine form. Capable horse on his day.

I dont like him on the ground Ron, he done really well to win at Epsom but I dont think it was a great race and hes up 7 pounds here against a different class of animal.

It was a shocker of a ride today, he went off far to fast, and have his horse no chance of getting home. Notice that the first 3 were all cooked turning in and none of them made the placings, whilst the winner came from the back.

Young Joseph is a very average jockey, and would struggle for rides on the all weather, nevermind Royal Ascot, if he didn't have the backing of his father.
