Liverpool is a khazi but there are nice bits in the surrounding counties where he could live. Not as if he is going to live in one of the terraced houses around Anfield like the one in Bread! The advantage Liverpool has is a gigantic reputation in the modern game and an international fan base as well as European footy next season.

They might not be as big as they were in the 70's and 80's but Liverpool still have much more clout than us and I would drop my bacon sandwich if we nicked Sigurdsson from under their noses.

Perhaps he's seen what signing for Liverpool did for the careers of Ryan Babel, Harry Kewell, Jordan Henderson, Joe Cole, Alberto Aquilani.... Albert Riera, Christian Poulson, Andrei Voronin... Robbie Keane, Boudewijn Zenden... can I stop now - I'm getting bored of typing?

This would be an amazing signing and a real coup for the club. Daily Fail is probably talking rubbish though.

None taken, he's a good player, I just don't want him going back to Swansea, he might interfere with my plan to see them relegated<ok>

He played for Swans when we stuffed them at HQ and if i remember correctly he was crap and outclassed.

Is this him in the picture being sorted by Barton?

Would rather have Diakite any day.

You make you judgement on one game? We should have dumped our whole squad going by that logic after the Bolton game.

Him and Diakite are totally different players. Its like comparing Derry with Taarabt.

No, but some judge MH on 1 signing, i don't?
As for 'Sig', i know its just all paper rubbish and he will be off to Liverpool to join BR. I was just using that game as an example as others use a few goals he scores and think he is class?
What worries me is all these loans and being sold twice in 3 years? If he was that good other than Liverpool (BR connection) bigger clubs would be in for him. <ok>

Whos judged him on one signing?

Going by that logic then we would never sign anyone as wed have to compete against the top 4 teams and players would never choose us.

Flyer people have moaned about AJ and Nellie and us not getting in younger players. People moaned when we got Hill and Derry as well.
Some people cannot be pleased. If we got in Messi people would moan saying that 'he has no prem exp'.

As i said before Sig would always go to a 'top four' team before us, however if it wasn't a 'big boy' then QPR would have a good chance.

He is off to liverpool so there is no debate now.

Good young players are always snapped up by the big clubs. This guy has played for reading, david hasselhoffenheim and swansea. So what's wrong with him?
