Good player, exactly what we need. Him and Faurlin in the middle would be immense.

7 goals in 18 apps from midfield for the sheep shaggers.

Agree. Creative, carries a goal threat and good at set pieces.

If the worst happens and we lose Adel then this would be realistically somewhere near the best replacement in terms of something different from midfield (though more centrally).

As Keegan once said "I would love it" if we got him, in my mind he is a class act and there is nothing out there that as good as him at his age.

Id quite happily swap them. This guy scored as many goals from midfield in half a season as AJ has done in 3 years.
It would definitely be a "holy crap, I cant believe we got him" moment if he signed.

He would also be a perfect man in the middle 3 of a 4231 formation.

That would piss off the Reading fans as well!

I was out last night having a beer with one of the 'delusional fakes' who was telling me that they are Signing 'Pog', 'Rhodes', 'Sig' and about 20 other top internationals and will finish top 10? <laugh>

not sure about 'Sig', agree he has scored some goals and made an impact when he first arrived at Swans but if a player is any good why has he been sold, loaned out, loaned out, sold?

Liverpool are favs to land him and he will always go there first.

He would be an ideal signing for us. Just the kind of player we need.

He's been stuck in Swansea for six months, may have paid a little visit to Liverpool and thought " time to get a London club interested......."
I'll be very surprised if this happens.

He was loaned out because he was very young and sold because the fakes needed the money. No idea why Hoffenheim are selling him though.

Not being disrespectful to Swans and Reading but he would be better off going to Liverpool. Reading will be relegation fodder and we don't know how Swans will do with the new manager? If he goes to Liverpool (even if a bench warmer) he will probably get a cup final or a Europa night out and be a at a world famous club, whereas if the other clubs cant offer that.

I think you will find if you read, that he has been linked because Liverpool may not be interested. If you can also read, you will see posts that say he would go to Liverpool.

He will be going to Liverpool , just lazy paper talk i reckon. Rodgers has signed him twice as a player already. I think he could do well there, has looked a decent player whenever i have seen him .

Agree and i think Rigg/MH have identified the players we want and he has always been going to liverpool so probably was not on the list.

Because Liverpool are in descent and that might continue. For the first time in a very long time QPR are setting about their business in a sensible manner, building for the future and with exciterment levels rising.

Liverpool, after the Roy and Kenny show, may have a manager in place who may turn things around. As yet, that is uncertain and certainly unproven.

OK, we do not have Liverpool's enviable history but just at this finite period in time, I can see plenty of reasons why a player might choose QPR over LFC. No offense.

If we don't have a dossier 45 pages long on him, he won't be considered.

    BREAKING NEWS: -
Just heard on the grapevine that we are odds on to sign Gylfi because of the unique oppertunity of playing in the same team as his father Heidar (surnames don't mean a thing in Iceland) in the premiership as this will be in the next issue of the Guiness Book of Records!!

Remember you heard it here first.
