he's an american when he was touted as NBT he was a stiker..not sure if he still is or has moved to midfield
He played his first professional game at 14 years old and was the youngest at the time to have ever played a pro game (could still be, I don't know of anyone that is younger that has played since). This is why it raised eyebrows throughout Europe and now he plays for some random European team, not sure he gets games though
Germany v Greece tonight. As hinted elsewhere, will Greece have yellow, red, & black stripes on their shirts to signify their sponsors???
Loads of rumours regarding Lonners packing his bags to go to Bolton once Kenny signs, thoughts YWBK?...
If there's no takeover I think we can kiss Snoddy, McCormack and White goodbye and our promotion chances with them.
I don't think there has been any reliable suggestions the takeover isn't happening. Personally, Im not worrying until there is an official announcement either way, and that looks increasingly like July 1st
Lonners to Bolton is a poor situation all round. He's better than Kenny, & Bolton may not be a PL side for much longer. Let's hope we don't sign Kenny. That said & with Green now almost certainly QPR's No. 1, Kenny will be going somewhere, just not here hopefully.
Morning all. Firstly, how much could we get for the 4 contract rebels? Second, does anyone believe it will be re-invested?
Elland the video you posted says enough about lonergan and he deserves a chance with a good defence in front of him! Surely 500k would be better spent on Alex McCarthy? Lonners likely to go back to Lancashire to be nearer hospital for his sick daughter
Lonergan definitely deserves a chance with a good defence but I'd much prefer him to stay at Leeds so for now he'll have to stick at it And I don't think we could get McCarthy as he wants first team and I don't think he is quite there yet
Fair point YW. Siilar situation as Gradel if he departs. Family reasons tend to trump everything else. Didn't we lose out on someone already because he wanted to keep his family in London? Time will tell what happens. Either way, at least we're in the transfer gmeather than sitting on the sidelines hoping we can pick up a few scraps after the top teams have had their fill.
Much better option, I wanted us to get Gordon but if Robinson is available we should at least try to bring him back even if he is looking at the Prem. I personally think he is England's 2nd best keeper
Robinson coming back would be a massive bonus. But would we be able to afford his wages? He would have to be on £25k+ a week. That said, he would certainly nsure our defence issues would be resolved. Certainly England's No. 2. Having said that, let's see what Lonners could do behind a better back 4.
