So for how many years did you live there exactly? This kind of statement is entirely subjective, and just goes to show the both of you up. You treat opinion like it is fact, just because it is your own. How arrogant is that?!! I'm sure both countries have a lot of positive and negative aspects, but who exactly has the right to decide which is "infinitely better"? What a joke, if you love it so much, then go and live there.
can't believe, having read through all these posts, that no-one has mentioned that animal kevin musquet. makes barton look almost angelic, and we all know that is not so. KEVIN MUSQUET
Lambeth: It's some fans rather than players who piss me off the most. For example, the arrogant German fans who sing "Oh wie schön" (Oh how beautiful/nice)), when their team is comfortably ahead. Really gets my goat that. And to think they're about the worst fans in the world when they're losing..............
I was trying to remember his name... if it makes you feel better he's not stopped being a dickhead in Australia.
It's so annoying when people say **** like that. I shouldn't have to express every opinion I have by starting a sentence with "It is my opinion that...". It's obvious to both of us that it's only my opinion, so stop being so bloody pedantic.
A quick mention for a player I have come to like a bit more: Steven Gerrard. Purely because he says the best TV show is The Office. Most footballers would probably say something awful like TOWIE or Geordie Shore, so that's refreshing.
Sergio Busquets is a thoroughly detestable human being. In fact, I dislike most of the Barca team, who, with the notable exception of Lionel Messi, are the biggest bunch of cheats I have ever seen. Also think Robert Earnshaw has the sort of face you just want to punch repeatedly. I don't actually mind CR7 and John Terry. Yes Ronaldo is arrogant, but he is young, rich, good looking and immensely talented, so he's got a lot to be arrogant about. John Terry as well gets a lot of bad press. I tink the Wayne Bridge story was blown out of all porportion by Newspapers e.g. the Mail published this apology 'On January 31, we published some personal information about Vanessa Perroncel concerning an alleged affair with the footballer John Terry. We have since been informed she would have preferred this to remain private and it was untrue in any case. We apologise to Miss Perroncel for any distress caused.' Obviously my opinion on Terry may change after the racism trial, but at this stage i'm happy to presume innocence until otherwise proven.
will put in nani to my list, he has a solid bronze life size statue of himself in his front room to hang his medels on - how much of an arrogant **** have you got to be to do that!
scott brown of celtic, tries to give a hard man look, really looks like a complete tard, totally detest the bloke.
John Terry and Joey Barton are a pair of skanks. Don't need to write anymore, they just are. Not that much fussed on Frank Lumphead either.
I've got a list but maybe in no particular order: Joey Barton Cristiano Ronaldo El Hadji Diouf Kyle Lafferty Dave Kitson John Terry Scott Brown Sergio Busquets Pepe Mesut Ozil (I'll think of even more tomorrow)
Give me the UK, and its people (generally), any time. And there was another `blip` about 100 years ago. God forbid we should become a nation of people with an inferiority complex, such as yourself.
What a weird thing to say. Banging on about the war is so utterly pointless and tiresome. My point is that they have changed a whole lot since then, and now they have better public services, better education, better crime rates and a better environment than we do. While we try to turn a blind eye to all our country's problems and arrogantly insist that there is no better place to be than lovely old England, a bunch of our friends across the channel are showing us how it's done.
I can accept that other countries might be preferred by posters on here, but Germans are not better people than we are. I'm not having that. Don't judge the British people by the low-lives...no country should be judged by those. British people by and large are good, decent people.
I didn't mean it like that. I can only go by facts and statistics and wouldn't ever try to generalise an entire nation of people in terms of personality. The German stereotype of efficiency is well-deserved. Their people do more work in less time and it undoubtedly benefits their economy. That's the kind of thing I'm referring to.
