its doing my head in carra. i've never known anything like it! totally crazy what goes on in some peoples heads... its june 21st FFS! its two months till we kick off again.
He was quoted as saying he was taking all the DVDs of last seasons matches. I would expect that he would only be here watching them anyway. No point buying players until you know what areas require strengthening.
i wouldn't say i was worried, more slightly anxious, and i think this is a natural human reaction to some change that has happened in the last month - new manager, 2 or 3 players leaving, looking like our captain is leaving as well. change and uncertainty makes some people feel uncomfortable i expect this to be only temporary and we will be ship-shape in the good ship canary come 18th August
Hughton bought Ben arfa and tiote to Newcastle from France for bargains so to say he wouldn't be as.astute in the market is daft!
Not to mention that Ewan Chester is back with us. Fortunately for us, DM, CH and co. are, in Max's terms, not human. Instead of being stricken with anxiety, they will quite correctly approach Holt leaving as simply a problem to be solved. The evidence is that we were already looking for a supplement/replacement even while PL was in charge. So in that sense nothing has changed.
The only team that are getting any players in so far, are QPR, and that's only because they need them more than most!
How VERY true and they seem to be following on from Colin's idea of signing players who've played in the EPL previously, but I did read somewhere that Hughes is trying to get rid of Barton!!! Will watch that one with interest.
I am not worried and would prefer Chris Hughton to take his time and assess his options. It is better taking your time over something rather than rushing it and doing a bad job of it. It would be nice to see more players sign contracts, but he still has time to bond with the players and bring in additional players over the summer.
Who's going to want a player banned for the first 12 games of the season? It'd be easier to sack him and his stoopid ****ing hair cut. Blokes a cnut.!!
just noticed we've been linked in the press to sebastian rudy of hoffenheim, german midfielder. that would give us ruddy, rudd and rudy
let's see if we can get a team of rudd / ruddys, like the team of people called Bungay who played against each other in bungay recently
I didn't say Chris Hughton would be bad in the transfer market, simply not as good as Lambert was. I don't think that is an unfair statement.
impossible to make that statement though. his record in the market stands up to lambert's as far as i'm concerned. all down to good scouting.
Heres a thought! Hughton likes Barton from his Newcastle days if QPR are trying to off load him, maybe on loan..............with us paying 20k of his wages........ Argggghhhhhhh..........
.....where do you get you information upon which you make this statement. the emptiness of your mind springs to mind.
