    some terrible stuff today, very difficult racing, hugh taylor cant find a winner you know your in trouble

    my biggest bet of the day coming up though and im extremely confident

    Just watched the Gold Cup replay on ATR and I must say Opinion Poll came with a wet sail and looked all over the winner before the coming together. Really had his momentum checked by Colour Vision and I'm sure that cost him the race (although I haven't seen a head on).

    Didn't have a penny on the race but disappointed for the horse who is a model of consistency and deserves a big prize like that.

    <doh> I wonder if Channel 4 will offer him a job when they take all the racing from the Beeb......... Maybe he can stay at the BBC and be the racing analyst on Ballamory

    Totally agree Oddy but if you saw the footage in the stewards room you'd have seen that Barzalona was never ever going to challenge Frankie. I know it was a half length in the end but I think Opinion Poll backers got done there and I also agree the horse definately deserved such a prize.

    2nd in a battle with a horse that has raced 4 times dammm - that one is only rated 70 mind so I doubt Circle is any good.
