That is because he wished Chelsea well in the CL final though Syd, not because of what he did on the park.

He had 3 goals and 2 assists in 9 games, most as substitute.

Yep. we like to make the gossip fit. If you are happy about us going for him fine, all I said was that it leaves me flat and it does. I had hoped and still hope for better, even to sit on the bench.

Don't get me wrong Syd, I'm not doing cartwheels at the thought, but I can see definite value in the lad as a squad member.

If he was the only striker we brought in, I'd be livid!

Kind of a numbness about this whole thing...

Can see both sides, he is better than what we have (when fit), but still doesn't really do anything for me.

Saha doesn't suit our system, Syd.
We play with one up front and he's not suited to the lone role, which is why we're also supposedly looking to offload Defoe.
That would leave us with literally nobody up front, at the moment! <laugh>

If we do get him it would not have me pulling my pud TBH, I hope it's on a pay as you play deal.

The man has spent more time on the treatment table than Barry Sheen & more time on his back than a very popular working girl.

I'd be more excited if we signed Carol Vorderman in all honesty.

    Just posted this elsewhere Cest.

"Saha was one of the best strikers I have watched, he was brilliant for Fulham his awareness of what is around him you can't teach. (One of the reasons Fergie went for him.)
HE has been unlucky with injuries but coming back from long lay offs he always looks more than capable of scoring.
As a free agent and hopefully pay as you play this could be very good business."
