Queens Park Rangers Football Club are keen on Stephen Warnock. Loftus Road manager Mark Hughes is a huge admirer of the left back, having signed him whilst in charge of Blackburn Rovers back in January 2007. The Welsh coach also wanted to sign Warnock during his time at Manchester City, but whilst he didnât manage it that time, he could now get his man again. The 30-year-old is in the final 12 months of his contract at Aston Villa, and Hughes hopes to persuade the Midlands club to sell for a fee of £2.5million.
Looks like we are going to be linked with anyone who has spent more than five minutes in the same room as Hughes.
Not too sure about either of them to be honest...would like to think we could get a stronger No1 and Fabio as backup? Maybe they are both coming in?
I think Fabio at lb and Traore at left mid would be a nice combination, plus hill can play Lb as well.
Yay, yet another 30 something. Its one thing to sign them on a free, its another thing to waste transfer money on them with the exception of Cisse.
Hate to say it, but Chelsea did ok with a fairly old squad last year... Nearly all squads have an average age of over 25 - we definately need experience in our squad, but I agree that some young blood for the future is definately missing as well.
Im getting fed up with lazy bloody jurnos linking us with virtually every bloody player that has ever played for hughes and is coming to the end of his contract
