i think he would be a great squad member. not sure what the plan is for this season. Are we building for the future or just staying up again. if we are building i would like us to start getting in younger players. so we can have a team that will last for a bit longer two years.

We do need a creative central midfielder badly. While he would not be my first choice, i would take him as a squad player.
Always been a fan of Murphy, but concerned about his age now. Zamora, Johnson and Murphy. We'll be playing with white shirts next! Could we have Dempsey as well?

I hope this is just about saving the bank balance whilst building up an experienced bench before the transfer window actually opens and we buy two or three starlets. Not too worried about Green, goalkeeprs reach their peaks in their 30s (but need a youngster in there) and Neilson also very good experience especially with Traore and Ouhuna in the first team (and Fabio?). Midfield Ale, Diakite, Mackie all absolutely mega but ......where is the decisive creative talent (Taarbs?...not on his own, not for 90 minutes, and not for the team). Forwards...Cisse, Zamora, Johnson.....Betty and Helga The whole thing looks solid and without pace....but I am sure that is what Sparky is saving his money for Creativity and pace
As much as Murphy, Zamora and Johnson are good players....it is a little embarrassing buying all of Fulhams older players off them.....kind of makes us look like we want to be them, which I for one certainly dont....I know MH used to manage them so he has a link with their players, but sureley we can look elsewhere for better players?
It's a yes from me, if only so we see his missus coming to Loftus Road. She's filth! Murphy as a player, perfect squad player, but please god not as a first choice.
Not my first choice but if we get him I could see all the posters on this thread saying what an inspired signing aka Hill/Derry he has been 2012/13 season, just a gut feeling.
Was a great player but has he still got it ? Squad player, I think not on his wages plus too many sides will would want him on to start. MH obviously has some drawing power with the fools players but do them...Guess it depends what else he has in store, if he is looking for a season stop gap before if can bring in someone else then maybe but not for me.
Again it's rumours but we are being linked with Danny, again on a free. Good sub material, what do you think?
