My ferry is not until 4pm but I shall visit a supermarket on the outskirts of Calais for last minute.com purchasing of wine and try and get an earlier ferry so I can get back in time for the quarter final tonight, not only that but I need to sort out my uniform for work tomorrow and get some food in for my lunch an dinner! It is all go
Morning Al, morning all - horrible very wet morning in Bandit Country and now in West West London. What happend to summer again? It seems to be a pattern, we have a few lovely days in May, just good enough to fire up the BBQ. Then it pours down in June through AScot & Wimbeldon and before we know it, it's getting darker again and the summer has gone... Al - I love that drive from Paris to Calais. I have stopped of quite a few times in little towns on the way and found some little gems to eat in. I haven't been to Calais for a few years, I understand a lot of the "cheap booze" places have closed down?
W-Y, I to like the drive there never is much traffic and the roads are in very good condition and I don't mind paying the toll Last year we found a small Carrefour on the outskirts of Calais which did stock my favourite red, so here's hoping they still do Anyway folks off to collect my car from our friends garage, which is only 15 mins away from the Mrs Al's apartment. Will catch up with you all a lot later, hopefully some news might be forthcoming with regards to the takeover
Morning all, big blue sky when I first went outside this morning, but cloud is rolling in from the south west and the forecast of rain or even storms is looking possible. Mme suggested that I get the BBQ out midday, so if there is rain I will put it all down to her.

Morning all All the lurking places in this part of Hampshire are very wet at the moment. Still, fewer diversions to keep me away from a bit of writing...
Afternoon all - still pouring down in West West London. Just the afternoon to get through - out for dinner tonight at some old friends and it's not a school night for me as I am off tomorrow, but Mrs W_Y has to attend school
Good afternoon - bit of a changeable day, here in Porton. Am hoping the weather holds off for the weekend, but not holding out much hope. Am in Plymouth over the weekend for a friend's stag, which will include a trek on Dartmoor tomorrow, a bit of sea-fishing on Saturday and coasteering on Sunday! Plus maybe a pint or two in between!
Hurry up with the next edition. I got 'The Glint Of Silver' on Sunday and finding it it an enjoyable read. Don't spend my 97p all at once. Afternoon all from a wet and dull Borehamwood. Thanks for the coffee Ak.
