  3. Fair do's...<ok>

I have criticised the Man Utd players myslef but not because they are Man Utd players. I have criticised them as England players that, IMO, have been poor. However, I did praise Welbeck after the Sweden game and, although he wasn't great yesterday, I thought Rooney did okay considering he hadn't played for four or five weeks too <ok>

I don't think Johnson has been great either, he has made some excellent challenges but all too often it is his fault that he's needed to make them IMO.

    Agreed..

Will be interesting to see whether he changes the team for the Italy game.. I don't think he will.. Though if we need a goal I'd bring Mandy on sooner.. Also same for Walcott in place of Milner..

  5. I'd leave Walcott on the bench, he is poor when he starts game but is often a useful impact player. Plus, in the 442 that Woy likes, we tend to have one attacking minded winger and one defensive, Milner fits the latters as he puts the effort in and does the dirty work. I'd maybe think about bringing The Ox in for Young as IMO, he's been poor in all three games) but then, could the Italy game suit him? Would the occasion get to an eighteen year old Oxlade-Chamberlain? Whoever is chosen for the left, Milner needs to play on the right to balance it out when they go forward.

I'd definitely go with Carroll over Welbeck. Nothing against Welbeck, he just didn't seem to click with Rooney (surprisingly considering the season just gone) yesterday but Carroll came on and altered our approach. I think the Italian defenders would be more concerned about Carroll's style than Welbeck's too.

I wouldn't mind carrol starting, nor ox as sometimes at that age they don't care about the occasion as a young Rooney and Owen proved in the past. I'd live to see us win, may take the Monday morning off if we win
