Stick I think that must be a strong possibility - surely he is better than Annunciation.

I am in absolutely no doubt that he is better than his stablemate RV.

I was at Noseda's again a week or so ago and he said this one has a good shout. If you're lucky, he might even be as good as Attenborough. <laugh>

P.S. Part 1 serious. Part 2 less so.

Stick, youve done your dough m8, get out now while you can at 8.8, will be trading at 12s before the off.

Ahern is different class from this lot, at 5/1 he is one of the bets of the meeting, he clocked the best speed figure of any 2yo in Britain this year and ill be surprised if he goes off any bigger than 7/2 <ok>

He will win, and he will do it in style.

Thats why they call me Boris Fenster

Just watched it Stick. Didn't see it as you did. Hughes stopped hitting it when he was beaten. He couldn't have got any more from him and he is clearly inferior to Dawn Approach. I don't think he would have got that close in yesterday's race.

    2.30 Ascot: IANS DREAM 14/1

Puzzling selection maybe and understandably an outsiders price. The debut form on paper does not look much at the time. You have to remember though that the two that pulled clear, Ians Dream and Cosmic Chatter, were nicely clear of well fancied Charles Hills and Richard Hannon juveniles that day and Noseda doesn't send horses to Royal Ascot for the sake of it. He to me shaped like he had more to come on his next start than the winner, travelling very, very strongly for a debutant, making up lost ground very easily, and I think his defeat was largely down to greeness more than anything. If he steps up on that in the way which I think he can, I think he has a massive e/w chance here and I think he is the tailor-made Dettori horse in the sense that he will respond and let Frankie get him in position.

I'd be very interested in what you make of his debut if you watch it on the sporting life highlights http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video/Racing

The winner of that race finished 7L behind the winner having held every chance in a listed event at Royal Ascot today after being purchased by Highclere Thoroughbred since but I think this Noseda horse has more gears and will go really well today.

    3.05 Ascot: KAILANI 9/1 (NAP)

I think this filly can be forgiven for the run at Epsom- I think Barzalona got the tactics all wrong- she is a really strong stayer and not someone with an instant turn of foot, so trying to hold her miles off the pace did not work and she kept on quite well at Epsom without really being able to get into the race, and that run being perceived as 'inferior' to the likes of The Fugue and Shirocco Star has been factored into her price. She was hampered very early in the race because there was such a lack of pace and that never suited her pedigree, as sher really is bred to stay and with a stronger pace today she has a terrific chance at big odds. She hung down the track at Epsom whereas I think she ought to handle Ascot a little bit better. I can't see them going so much of a crawl this time and I actually hope Barzalona has this filly prominent because she will stay all day. Very, very stoutly bred and with a different sort of race at Epsom we would still be talking about a very exciting prospect. Have been waiting for a chance to back her ever since.

3.45 Ascot Gold Cup: SADDLERS ROCK 4/1 & COLOUR VISION 9/2 (also a RFC)

I find it very difficult to separate these pair and I know it is very hard on Fame and Glory to be opposing him here with both, but I just have a feeling that there is an awful lot of talent in these two horses. Sadlers Rock looks for me to be the absolute stamina-laden horse of the field. He stays on strongly and is relentless at the line. He saw off Unaccompanied last week but just failed to peg back Midnight Sporano. I have no doubts he will come on for that and he looked like he'd have gone well past that horse over the extra 6 furlongs here and I simply cannot ignore how strongly the horse stays.

Colour Vision is a terrific animal also and he was coming home like a train behind Fame and Glory last year. Godolphin have snapped him up and unlike some of their recruits, he looked as good as ever when slamming Red Cadeux eased down at Kempton and the great thing about him is he has a better turn of foot than Opinion Poll, so I think he is Godolphins best hope as he can get the tactical postion right under Frankie. Has to prove he has the fight for a marathon but is completely unexposed over these trips and a really interesting contender.

5.00 Ascot TALES OF GRIMM 11/2-Ran on the same night as Carlton House did at Sandown and you would have to think he has been prepared exactly the same- with Royal Ascot in mind. I thought he ran a really promising race under Ryan Moore and looks the typical Stoute horse in the sense that it should improve for that run, especially with Carlton House performing so creditably earlier this afternoon. The key here for Tales of Grimm is the step up in trip. He ran on really well at Sandown and he ought to really improve for the extra 2f here. This is only his 3rd career start and I think he is one of the Stoute horses with promise for this season. He is in with some really interesting talents today so it is a competitive race, but I fancy he can see them off.

You wont be liking the table when you see it either. The veteran grey gelding has moved smoothly into a prominent position on the heels of the leaders.

Fame and glory wins tomorrow and Opinion Poll follows him home. Frankie's on the wrong one. NAP.

I also think Tom Queally's on the wrong one in the Tercentenary and that Stipulate will get home ahead of the rest with Mongan on board.

    My two cents.

I should state that my only bet is the Fame and Glory Opinion Poll straight forecast. I really like this bet. Good luck all.
