Whilst I expect our FA to be totally rubbish made up of fat swaety men in suits, I am increasing concerned that UEFA had handed down fines and bans for alledged racial abuse and paper plane construction that are totally unenforcable in law and are monstrably unfair.

Fines are bans do not work. There is no evidence that they work and there only pupose is to pay for holidays of UEFA officals. Russia are rightfully appealing their fine and ban and I fully expect it to be overturned, Croatia too will appeal their fine, the Germans well there just happy that they can make aeroplanes again.

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to warn black and asian fans not to travel!! where is the evidence that these fans would be 'coming home in a coffin' Absloute overeaction form puddle jumpers with out a clue. This tournament has been ruined by rumour and scaremongering.

I may be wrong - but didn't you say a few weeks back that you thought the tournament would turn to trouble too?

Handing out fines to national teams for the behaviour of their fans is quite pointless. The troublemakers are not going to be put off from causing bother because the FA of their country has been penalised financially.
For instance, I don't know how the German FA were supposed to stop fans throwing paper aeroplanes onto the pitch, or how the Croatian FA could ensure that no fan carried a fire cracker into the stadium. These incidents are surely a matter for the Polish/Ukrainian authorities to sort out thus making them culpable when the fines are dished out.

Disgraceful behaviour by the England fans standing on the running track.

I feel England must be forced to play behind closed doors for the next 2 years, with no TV coverage either. Including the quarter final and semi final. Only then will people learn.

ITV are spoiling this competition for me as I'm always thinking Roy Keane's dog wants walking.
