http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/327780? Hopefully this is happening. The guy has got better and better the more games he has played.
He definitely improved as last season went on. The penalty save against Hearts seemed to get his doubters behind him. He's still not a brilliant keeper but he's getting better. At the risk of repeating the same **** over and over, I'm still disappointed we didn't offer Pletikosa a deal last summer.
He certainly looks and talks as if he's 'Thelikminded' plus he's got that 'c'mere kiddies' look about him so he'll fit in well with the ruffians that currently frequent the BheastingBowl.
He wanted over 20 grand a week, I think we where right to not sign him but I did think we should have last season.
I also think that Celtic don't see the value in players over 30 these days. They'd rather take a risk on someone like Forster in the hopes that we can improve him and sell him for a profit.
I hope it's true and we get Forster - he was immense last season, is young and has been steadily improving. I note the article states that we may have missed out on Leicester City defender Matt Mills and out-of-contract West Bromwich Albion midfielder Keith Andrews to Bolton. Have to say that I don't know much about either, other than that I was far from impressed by Andrews in the Euros - the fact that he's out of contract would also indicate that he's not at his best.
Also, why would Celtic need another midfielder? We've got at least 6 players who can comfortably play CM just now. I've not seen much of Matt Mills but it's a quality centre back I think Celtic need to spend money on this summer more than any other position. We've only really got Chuck, Rogne and Wilson as first team CB's at the minute.
