There would be less lazy fookers around if we were not so giving with our benefits though. Labour want to give everything to everyone, the Tories don't. Remind us why we are in "austerity" at the moment ? Its because Labour spent far more than they should've.

Out of that list, i would take Ben Arfa. Class and a perfect fit in our team.

 

Our board in recent years have been on Greek level austerity measures BEFORE austerity became fashionable, tighter than a greenfly's poo hole

 

He may be the best but he would cost over 17mil IMO now that newcastle have him. Though apparently he said he would prefer us to Chelsea as he's more likely to get regular football

 

He would be all wrong for Chelsea but for us perfect. WE don't even have to play him on the right, he can slot in the centre. He has very good technical skill, strength and ball control. I doubt we'll get him as he's not been mentioned much, and when it was, it was a while ago. Coming to us would make so much sense to him as he has a bit more developing to do and under us, they are perfect conditions.

 

Lets just wait and see how things develope and hope for the best. Won't be easy finding a good am with the required quality and decent price.

 

I remember Narsi was Wenger's the 2nd choice after Ben Arfa. But we do not need another attacking player. We need a proper playmaker.

 

Arsenal 'overspending?' - that'll be the day. I can't think who on here wants overspending.

Spending that which we get in transfer income is fair enough.

The original argument for the Emirates was to be able to compete using higher matchday income. So far - no chance.
