    Win/Win for us.

If France win then England could seriously go on and win the Euro's or at least get to the semi's/final.

If Spain win, which looks more likely, Cabaye/Ben Arfa/Debuchy will at least avoid more injuries, as they will hopefully all be playing for us next season.

Quite positive about the Euros. Italy are not as strong as France and we now have a chance to get to the semis for the first time since 96. (Of course we will no doubt face Germany, unless Greece do us a massive favour)

The outcome of the Spain/France game surely had no bearing on whether we make the final. We'll all be cheering on Greece but i just can't see them getting a result against Germany.

England vs Italy is 50-50, if i had to bet all my money on it i would probably bet on Italy as they've got better experiences than us at tournaments in the past decade and are more likely to edge it. Not good for the nerves but i forsee a 0-0 or 1-1 with penalties deciding it.

I hope Spain smash the French to pieces (be nice to Benni and Yohann though, and Debuchy just in case). Dislike their coach enormously with his recent brainless comments on England. So screw him and the sooner the boys are back in toon the better anyway. I expect the Spanish to win anyway as the French are vastly overrated. I must admit I don't think Spain are anywhere near the level of previous tournaments but the french seem weak willed to me.

Germany are still my pick but Greece are no walkover. On paper they should get pumped but we all know what happened last time we looked at Greece on paper (cue chip shop jokes).

With ourselves I think we have drawn one of the most savvy and underrated teams in the competition. Italy are well organised and have a nice balance in the squad. They have any amount of experience, but a good smattering of players at their peak and a few youngsters. I think we're in for a really tough time. The pace of their game may suit us best of all the opponents so far though. The key is still shutting the genius of Pirlo. Everything goes through him and he has basically been in control of all their opening three games.

Watched the whole of the France game last night, Spain will defeat them easily. In my opinion Nasri is the problem with France, he slows the play down, and tries to compete with Benzema and Ribery to be top dog. I think the final will be Germany V Portugal. Very impressed with Portugal against the Dutch, and could have won by a lot more. Some people say Germany were lucky against Denmark, i thought they wre playing well within themselves.

As always Germany just doing what they have to. they did get lucky against the danish but the paper read the same way it always does after play, Germany win. The portugese were good against the dutch but the dutch are pretty poor at the back. They never hit their attacking straps this time and when that happens their frailties are exposed. Portugal were not so great in the two earlier games but Ronaldo is a major threat if used correctly. I just have a sneaking suspicion they'll go into their shell against the big teams again.

All the teams look a little bit **** this tournament. England seem as capable as anyone if they defend well.

As ever supporting England a bit like supporting the Toon. You just never really quite know what to expect from a great win to a pathetic collapse regardless of how good the opposition are rated. As ever hoping for the great win but largely expecting the defeat.
Dont know why us Toon fans get called deluded. The majority of us through experience are eternal pessimists but just always keep up the faith and hope of success and support the team accordingly to the best of our ability.

I had £5 on Torres for top scorer @ 16/1 and £5 on France to win it @ 12/1 at the start of the tournament

......so i'm hoping for France 6-5 Spain, Torres to score 5 <whistle>

I've got an Italy win in the predictions compo I do with my mates every tournament, so should Italy even make the final I'll win £150, and I've also got a fiver each way on France to win the thing. So, erm, come on England I guess...
