Big Andy has scored as many goals as Wazza in the Euro's.

So thats at least two 'world class' forwards in the England set-up.

 

I was building up to that.

 

Just to introduce a serious comment, Carroll played very well against Sweden. I think that perhaps Rooney should have come on from the bench as he clearly wasn't match-fit. What do you think, Big Al?

They called me last week trying to get me to add the Movie package, robbing bastards.

 

I personally think Rooney should have started as he is one of the few world class players we have in the team and you need players like him to do well in a game as players like Rooney can produce one moment of magic to win a game. He may have been a bit rusty due to the lack of game time but you would rather give him plenty of game time against an average side rather than throw him in the deep end in a quarter final against Italy.

 

Not sure where Swarbs has gone. Also all these bannings happened whilst he's been away.
