    In poodling around I came across this article about a game that the Reserves played on 7th June. I'm not at all sure why the game took place (there's nothing on the official site) but, apart from possible general interest, I'm posting it firstly because Jol was there and secondly because of the strong team line up. Was the Boss casting a final eye over his young protegies before being tempted into the market ?

    Thanks for the info Cottager,I missed that one,what you are saying is possibly true.
    See Trotta was in the mix again,must be worth a few outings next season.

    Cheers for that one Cottager. I admire your ability to dig this stuff out. Maybe a match arranged to give Jol a chance to decide which youngsters should be offered new deals? Otherwise it seems like strange timing.

    Looks like Andy Hessenthaler was named among the Gillingham subs unless he has a son at the club. Big Mart should have put himself on the Fulham bench!

    They might not have had a reinforced bench.
