Hardly, caught under the high ball, outpaced and then failed to clear the ball away <ok>

Frogs 2-0 down, they could regret it as they've got Spain now...<laugh>

England did well defensively and Johnson didnt put a foot wrong, I criticised him for the last game but he did very well tonight.

Agree there Flyer! I wanted us to come 2nd as I'll be on a plane from Bergen to Oslo Sunday night when the QF as Group winners is played! And I think Italy will be harder than Spain.

England had a poor performance tonight and Ukraine were robbed of an equalizer. All that said, the sheer character of the side has brought them through, top of the group. France are an average side as most of us pointed out two weeks ago when Oddball was giving it loads.

The Italians will provide a sterner test but they won't fancy playing England. Well done England and hopefully you can put one over on the Italians.

(If Oddball is a man of true character - which I think he is - he should come on now and admit he thought France were better than they are.)

You sure? It wasn't mentioned on the Channel I watched it on. I'll watch it again but I take your word for it North.

The truth is England were outplayed by a Mickey Mouse side. But and its a big BUT, when you have luck on your side and bags of character, anything can happen in football. I think there's a 50/50 chance of progressing past Italy. Hopefully we can do it.

Was happy to see that Larsson didn't reveal his underwear after his goal.

France lost 2-0, but if we had lost 1-0 to Ukraine, who would have qualified behind Ukraine, as I believe GD would have been the same and we tied our game with them.

It's irrelevant, it wasn't a goal just like Clint Hill's wasn't a goal. End of...
