Big super saviour Walter runs for the hills.............again http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/...nsortium-drops-bid-to-buys-rangers.1340110529
Fucking brilliant. I go for a spot of lunch and come back to this There's ne'er a day goes by that they don't gie us something to laugh about!
The adminstrators turned down £6m to accept a bid of £5.5m? Something still doesn't seem right here at all. I'm sure ticketus and craig whyte have got there handprints all over this.
Walter's bandwagon ride to the rescue had all the razzmatazz of an out-of-tune William Tell Overture - as flat sounding as the 'musical road'!
I think you'll find Walter has had his bandwagon since he was a young loon. please log in to view this image

I would like to clarify the background to the offer of £6million for the assets of the Club which I announced on Thursday 14th June 2012," Smith said. "The offer was made to the administrators before the Charles Green consortium had concluded their transaction to acquire the assets at £5.5m from the administrators. We felt it necessary to have a fall-back position to secure the Club’s future. We have since made the same offer of £6m to the Green consortium through Zeus Capital. Says he bid before charles green got the assets for 5.5m. You could be right though, in that it was after green had entered into an agreement with the administrators if the CVA failed but before he got the assets.
Alex Thomson hinting that, according to a lawyer, a massive fraud has taken place. No way should Green have been able to get his hands on Rangers the way he did. Plenty more to come
i think it sounds like the weaker second film in a three part franchise the whyte scenario (a classic) the smith consortium (a strained cast with limited investment in the franchise and a re-hashed storyline) retrun of the whyte (spolerspoilerspoilerspoilerspoiler)
My understanding is that there was a binding agreement between Green and D&P, and any offer to D&P was as pointless as it was late. But who the **** knows anymore.
The only fraud i can see is craig whytes forged letter claiming to have £33m. Which is why I find it strange ticketus haven't done anything about that. If they were concerned they should have gone after the assets themselves.
Jings The only thing I can think of at the moment that this might relate to is the £5.5mil valuation of the assets.
