oK I have emailed the box office Manager asking them about the possibility of making a group booking for international QPR fans of not606 QPR messageboard. I have said the group could be as large as 30 and what are the chances of getting tickets for a match. I listed the first 5 home matches (Swansea, Chelsea, West Ham, Everton and Reading). I will let you know what they say/recommend/suggest.
Good man. 'International Fans', I feel very exotic. Do you think we could get close to 30, practically a bus load?
On second thoughts, I don't qualify as 'International'. Could someone adopt me for the trip? Democracy.....talk to the Greeks. What about 'letting a consensus emerge', always liked that phrase, hides a multitude of sins.
I know it takes a bit of organising, but as i said to Inky last evening, we've still got the Euro's, Wimbledon, The Open Golf, 3 Tests against South Africa and then The Olympics to get out of the way before we start thinking about the coming season, so lets enjoy the summer and take it from there.
At least we found out the reason for given being ****, too many nights out with Robbie Fowler. please log in to view this image
Could I ask that someone on this thread, who's up to speed with Twitter, ask Tony if he would fly the Irish supporters, in the QPR liveried plane, from Dublin/Belfast to London, for a game. Think of the publicity. We'll even contribute to the fare. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE someone do it.
The International R's (non UK) want to have a meet up at Loftus Road don't they???? International R'sss, are you all meeting for a game this coming season??? We'll include you with the Paddies Belfast.
The reply from the box office is as follows and I quote, "Thanks for your email. Unfortunately we cannot confirm group bookings for the upcoming season yet. We did have an official travel partner last year - Travel Connection Europe. Once we have further information, we will get in touch. Kind Regards, box Office, QPR Holdings Ltd". So, basically, they will get in touch later.
Think it's best that we arrange our trip first and then when it's finalised, we can let everybody know our plan and those that are able to join us from further afield will be more than welcome. It will be too difficult to try and arrange a game that suits everybody on here. Going by the regular contributors from Ireland on this board, I think a realistic number will be about 10.
count me in for the swans game lads. defo going, and dont think it will be on telly. overnighter or day trip dosent matter.
Nuts, you can please some of the people some of the time.......................you know the rest. Stick with it and don't get too disheartened if some people start falling by the way side.
No Belfast you're not. I am talking ticket numbers. I will have a season ticket so will not require a ticket. I will bring 2 extra non season ticket holders with me.
xxxk me...... I managed 1........the Arsenal game. So, you're keen then......? How do you get the rest of the week in?
