Hmm but Leicester offered him those terms in the first place (so could presumably afford to be paying that much), plus as far as I know he didn't have a poor season last year. Add that to Leicester hoping for promotion to the Prem and thus should be able to afford those wages in the top flight. Perhaps they don't think he'd make the step-up?
