On the SAFC site, "Its time for some of them to stand up and be men. We let everyone down, again".

Now to me, that sounds like a captain talking, a man who did not let me down yesterday, scored a great goal and played thru he pain barrier.

One bright spot on a dark day.
 
All well and good saying it after the event but, how many times have we heard this from a player who had a decent game to deflect the flak away a bit? it's not working for me. Have kept off here till now as it would have been rant after rant, I stayed for the third WBA goal then left had enough of that crap. No tactics, no passion and more importantly no effing effort from a bunch of under achieving so called professional footballers. The players are not playing for SB and SB has exactly no clue at all, I'm also sick and tired of hearing SB bigging up the opposition before we play them Hodgson is a good manager, I admire Dalgliesh, Man City are a very good top team etc. etc. stop praising other teams and sort ours out Bruce or you will be gone by the next season at the latest. I honestly think he's on borrowed time now and the only thing keeping his job safe is no one else will take it in case we do go down.
All I can say is thank god allah buddha whichever all powerful being you believe in or not for West Ham, Wigan and Wolves as these three teams will keep us up.
 
Why is Clattermole your captain? Because he tackles recklessly?

Bardsley would make a much better captain than Clattermole , but I think Brucie's scared that if he takes his armband away from him his performances will drop EVEN MORE.

And maybe it sums up our mess, millions spent but our best player is someone who we wanted rid of at the start of the season who is playing on the wrong side of the field

Haven't even heard SBs post debacle sorry match interview just can't face the string of tired old excuses again.
 
thats right and then it starts a knock on effect useing other players out of possitoin and not having enough cover for injuries <bubbly>
