<peacedove>There is no doubt that our home games last season contributed heavily to our worst league league performance last season.
Facing Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United in quick sucession in
our first three home games is nothing to write home about. However, I strongly believe that we are capable of doing well against them.<ok>

Those 3 fixtures could be the differnce between a very good or very bad start.

I don't think we had much of a problem in the big games last season. We always rose to the occasion. But it was just against the smaller teams that were expected to beat.

In our fairness, we did attack and dominate but just couldn't score. Hopefully we can bring in a couple of strikers (I hear Newcastle have put a bid in for Luuk De Jong - £8m!)

I also think we need to take 3 points from Spurs at Anfield this season. It's been too long

But they already have multiple strike options.

The smart money is on Luuk De Jong going to Dortmund.

Newcastle have had a (rather derisory) bid of £5M officially rejected for Debuchy by Lille.

There were talks of Demba Ba leaving to play in Turkey?

FC Twente are asking for £15m for Luuk De Jong as well.
