I just cant fathom how they've got one in March in Cambridgeshire, bizarre. I've got a job offer down in Cambridgeshire so im thinking of doing a trip of all the Boyes's's eventually, bit like piss heads do for Weatherspoons pubs.

 

Next thing you know they'll be a worldwide company, theres an Iceland, Aldi and Lidl in Tenerife!

The olympic torch passing the Holderness Road branch of Boyes'. This brings a tear to the eye.

 

What a special moment for us all to cherish for the rest of our lives. Now we just need an 'essle Road one and Branny Centre to complete the set. I saw the Bev one on Calendar.

 

I wonder how many of the 41 nationwide branches of Boyes will be passed by the Olympic torch.

I do'nt care if you think the olympics are a waste of money and are not interested in them, thats a great afternoon for the people of Hull and East Yorkshire and it looks and sounds like a hell of a lot of people had a great time.

 

The one in Beverley is perfect for curtain fittings and stuff like that, will have a look in tomorrow

 

Agreed. The kids and missus loved it. The kids may not have understood that they probably won't ever see this again but the City became united again and maybe got the local businesses a bit of gross profit!
