No match is easy but I am sure the team will be better starters than last season.

Not a bad trip for you guys that. Palace away.

We got Arsenal away which is a bit of a pisser as I wont be able to go unless I get some overtime in.

Never been to the Emirates & I always enjoy a trip to the capital & the pleasure of paying £4.50 a pint, lol.

Anyhow, good luck for the season, the lull is almost over. <ok>

Grr a few of the fixtures I want to go to are inconvenient. Wanted to go to Bristol City away but will be back in Watford to see family, and Cardiff away is midweek so may have to be a hotel job as last train back is too early! Will try to get to Brighton away!

Any fixtures stand out for a Nest meet?

Blimey, that is not good. Unless we get a home draw in Round 2 of the Capital Punishment cup, I will not get to see a game at The Vic until Sept 18th. We don't get back from the US until 28th Aug..<yikes>

I'm happy to report that my rather humungous birthday is a home game, and the only Tuesday night game that might be difficult is Sheffield Wednesday...coz that's a long drive on a Tuesday night! Might make Cardiff though, so not sure i've been altogether logical there..hmm, no comments please! lol

Was thinking maybe Derby away for the meet up? 1 September...what do you think?

Would be great if you could get down for that one, apparently the Emirates is worth going to, if only to laugh at the library that the Arse inhabit ;).

Good luck to you too hon, have a great season! :)

Good start I think being away to Crystal Palace, always a good away trip that. I dont think its too tricky a start, what I'm a bit worried about is the last 7 games, away to Hull, Peterborough, Millwall and Leicester, and home to Cardiff, Blackburn and Leeds. Then again, if you have a head of steam then games suddenly look easier, and if your up against the wall games look a hell of a lot harder

20 Saturday home games is pretty decent, provided the weather co-operates. Only one of those 20 clashes with a cup weekend that might affect us, and to be honest I'd be delighted if either Watford or Blackpool get to the FA Cup quarter final.

H, if Derby away is a Nest meet-up I won't be there as I'll be in Budapest. The game nearest to my big birthday is Boro away :(

Bit disappointed we're away on 27th October - not sure I can cope with a trip to Blackburn and the American show at Wembley in successive days.

Why have they suddenly decided that FA Cup 4th round day isn't being kept clear?

    NNW, w/c is week commencing.

No fixtures close to me - no surprise there !

Any chance of a pre-season tour of Italy and S/W Spain now ??

I guess they feel that it does no harm. The alternative is a midweek match later in the season, which is what it would have been anyway.

Sorry, not actually Watford related (well, probably not); There are Premiership games on the 12th and 18th of May - so 2 matches after the FA Cup Final. Personally think this is wrong. FA Cup Final should be the last match of the domestic season... no wonder it is losing some of it's magic if some teams are still concentrating on their league form too

I do sympathise with the FA to a certain extent.

It's either put the FA Cup in direct competition with the Champions League, go to war with the Premier League to force them to finish their season earlier, or schedule the FA Cup final early enough that the Premier League shouldn't be decided on that day.
