i think its going to be between vettel and lewis.i think vettel will get pole and lewis 2nd in quali. when it comes to the race im backing lewis to win, eventhough vettel must be favourate.alonso might nick it tho lol
I'm seriously holding off on picking a winner, for the simple reason that I'm not good at predicting which cars will work well. We could see a Williams resurgence with Senna looking to prove himself and Maldonado... being Maldonado, Kobayashi has gone well here in the past while Perez is on form, Alonso usually goes well in Spain with Massa looking better too, and you can't ignore Hamilton to take his new-found confidence and make it two on the bounce nor look past Vettel, who always goes well here.
So far this year no winner of any Grand Prix has managed to finish higher than sixth in the next race. Place your bets on Hamilton if you dare...
Gone for Jens, different tyre compounds to the previous 2 races, he's already won a street circuit this year, why not.
Gone for an outside bet of Grosjean. If he gets his head in the game at the right time I think he will have a good shout at a race victory.
I picked him to win in Monaco, and he crashed. I wouldn't hold your breath, whenever he's considered to be a threat, he seems to fluff it.
As pointed out by Sea-Man earlier in the thread, the previous race did not maximise Mercedes' strong suit. Valencia should be a far better platform for them to show their advantage. Possible podium for your man, eh Manny? That said, Valencia has tended to make an ideal (Red) Bull-ring –especially in Vettel's hands; and Hamilton has been working wonders in the slightly below par (in my opinion) McLaren. Then again, Alonso is on home territory in the ever-improving Ferrari and Lotus have yet to score their seemingly inevitable 2012 win.
Voted Hamilton, but given the way 2012 has gone, it could be anyone from the current top 7 constructors! If Hamilton doesn't win, I'd like to see someone make it 8 different winners from 8 races!
Pirelli tip Schumacher to win. Whether you like him or not, seeing him taking his 92nd win would be a special moment. It's about time his run of bad luck ended. There's only one DRS zone for this race.
I agree mercedes will not be strong here, if there is not a cock up in quali, it will be in the race.
But he has outperformed Rosberg in Australia, Malaysia and Monaco. Schumacher isn't too far behind Rosberg's ultimate pace (apart from China), so as long as he has the right car and Rosberg keeps choking in qualifying, Schumacher has every chance of winning.
