If you do it right, you can seriously dent the opposition's confidence. The joy of bitching about Sir Alex and half the United team worrying about me...

After two seasons of just about avoiding relegation, I've decided enough's enough, I'm going for some big players and there's no room for sentiment for the likes of Lambert, Hooiveld and Fonte who have unfortunately been really poor since coming up.

Players in so far: Vladimir Weiss, Goran Pandev, James McArthur, John Brayford.

Because it tries to sign into Steam. Instead of trying to load up FM, load up Steam and you should get an option to stay offline. Then select FM from your Steam library.

You probably have an update to install which you need the internet for, without the update you can't start it in offline mood. It's kinda flawed.

Yeah I thought that before when I was up in Peterborough at my brothers, I went to go onto it in offline mode as his internet was down as he lives in a remote area of Peterborough and has internet problems and it would not connect.

Am I the only one buying the London 2012 Olympics game for the PS3, just pre ordered it for £29.99, looks good and for £29.99 not bad, if I don't like it I will just sell it straight away, anyone else getting it.

Hell to the no. I only buy, on average, one PS3 game per year because they're so ridiculously expensive. Therefore I limit myself to buying only the very best games. This past year I've bought two: Skyrim and Battlefield 3. Before those, it was Fallout: New Vegas. I'm not sure what the next one will be.

As i've got older i've gone down dramatically in the amount of games I buy, I think i'll buy Fifa 13 this coming academic year and that's about it. Got to save up for fm 2013 anyways.

Olympic video games tend to be dreadful I'm afraid.

The Beijing game was hilariously bad, don't think I'll be getting this until it's preowned for a fiver, cause it can be a laugh but Olympics games are terrible.

FIFA, Madden and FM are the only definite purchases for me. Normally a Bethesda game too, Skyrim, Fallout etc.

I haven't bought a FIFA game for years, but I suspect I will once I'm out in the real world and have a job. I'll be able to afford it, and also I won't have as much time for immersive games like Fallout and Skyrim. :(

The trick is, don't spend all your loan on drink ;) I've got enough left over from mine for a season ticket this year!

I don't buy many games any more, normally I do buy only 2-3 games a year that is COD, Fifa and another game, last year Battlefield 3, before September each year I then sell Cod and get back about halve of what I pay which is OK. If I buy over 3 I sell a game or two so once the Olympics is over I will sell it or if it is ****, the last one was not that good but I thought I would take a risk.
I only get 1 game on PC each year and that is Football manager.
Last year I did also get Saints Row The third which is OK and this year I have got Fifa Streets 3 so far and also brought Uncharted 3 used but then I will sell 1 or 2 games soon, I only like to have around 8-10 games at a time as I find having too many a waste of money. There is only a few games I keep, I keep Fifa as it has no resale value once the new one comes out and I don't like to sell it before the new one is out whereas I don't mind doing that with COD as I don't really play it, just get it so when my friends come round there is something else to play, also they don't like Fifa much.
