CYM - this TOTALLY shows where UEFA's priorities lie. Bunch of pathetic pricks. I now expect Croatia to be fined £1m at least for their racist behaviour <ok>

Bendtner would have got away with it if the officials were from Sunderland or Newcastle....

I often think about the racist issue.I can only think that it's swept under the carpet in Eastern Europe as they have a completely different mindset to us.Many years ago words such as ******,sambo, cooni <'m not treating people like idiots by putting stars instead of letters> were acceptable and were used on mainstream TV programmes.Maybe it's because countries like the former Yugoslavia never had empires like us that they have never had ethnic minorities who have lived in their countries for hundreds of years.Living in a small town in North Wales the only non whites we'd see were those that worked in the takeaways.I like to think i was educated by my parents and so don't have racist views(except for the Anglo Saxons) My wife and i taught my daughter that racism was wrong and she will do the same with her children.

I think this is a bad side of capitalist regimes - when you consider crimes where money is involved seem to carry far greater punishment.

Stanford getting 110 years for his £4bn swindle and other high profile cases where the punishment I feel is ridiculously high considering nobody got hurt but someone lost a load of money prove that courts place less value on humans than they do money.

Its ridiculous. You can steal some money and get more jail time than if you killed someone in cold blood !

Walcott is fine according to Hodgson. Would start him against the Ukraine. Milner has bored me to tears.

whats all this hamstring gone. then? He's sat on the turf - cannot go on.
Hobbles off - gets a quick rubdown - lucky boy - and he is running down the wing again.

    Strange.
