How much of a hit then will you take overall on Matt Mills ? There is no way Bolton will pay the wages you do surely ? Especially with there current debts.

That's a strange logic. Surely if desperation was indeed setting in, we'd be making moves for other wingers. The fact that he's sticking to his targets impies anything but desperation to me.
Danny Murphy would be an excellent signing IMO, though find it hard to believe we'll want to sign another central midfielder. Would imagine he'd get snapped up by someone like Southampton, Premier League quality for sure.
You can have Stewart for a couple of million. We'd be able to replace him with a better, more consistent winger for far less I believe. He's a good prospect but has had more bad than good games in a City shirt.
