Underwhelming but I think they save the more exciting signings for later. I think this means Taiwo isnt signing as Fabio will cover the LB position if he comes.
I like Mark Hughes comment about how Nelsen will help the younger players. Will be a good squad player and will help everyone in the squad

Nelson and Taiwo ... short memories Taiwo has stated he wants to sign maybe MH has thought again but at the moment Taiwo and Diakite are set to sign full time contracts with QPR. Nelson is a massive improvement on Hall or Gabbidon ... so its a great signing and it is now truth so let absorb it

Flyer , RB , are you being serious ? This guy was captain at blackburn and formed a great centre half pairing with Chris Samba , A captain form Hughes in the past. For a one year deal with that much experience he will be a good solid signing for us. We do lack prem experience in our squad and this guy will bring something to the table. Def an improvement on the centre halves we let go.
I want to forcibly and in no unclear terms make the point that I have absolutely no opinion about this signing whatsoever. Never let it be said that I never spoke up to let my feelings be known on the subject. I am verging on apoplectic with indifference. Hope he does well, in a sort of off hand "best of luck to 'im" kind of way. No idea at all if he will.
MH says we lack a "little" PL experience, Surely it is a "little". Cerny, Paddy (if still with us), Onouha, Young, Ferdinand, Clint, Traore, Derry, SWP, Adel, Barton (if with us), Mackie, Cisse, HH, BZ, DJ and maybe I'm forgetting someone(s), all have PL experience. Let's hope we bring in some young strong up and cummers July/August, and not just these golden oldies!
Oslo , what your definition of experience ? One season of top flight football is not an experienced prem player is it . ( Thats all half of our lot have , half of them have not played more than 25 prem games ). Would say Young , swp , barton and Zamora are our only true prem experienced players .
Add AJ to the list, that's 18 players with at least 1 season's experience. Sounds more and well sufficient to me! I think all or most of these have played 25 PL games. In addition to the 4 you mention Cerny, Ferdinand, Onouha, Cisse, HH, DJ, Neilsen and AJ have years of PL experience
