Bollocks to that. Only one thing needs removing and its not a rival fan or their comments. Rivals make this board decent. Every problem bar KPR on here was from our own fans ( well not really our fans just pretending to be ) like Nohlman and Luisnani17 ( same ) etc etc. More recently meth has taken over his pal nohlman. Bar KPR I cannot name another fan who should be banned, Baz can be funny and annoying but its hamless and he usually acts pretty sensible in the decent threads. **** threads are bound to be over run and mocked tbh.
As a mod what can you do about this mod not accepting banter? This is OUR site. when other fans come here, they should recognise that. A bit of banter is fine. a bit of argument is fine. BUt when they slag off our posters, the United players, the United manager. then this laissez faire attitude is nonsense. Are we going to be the only board that allows a free for all ? is this an invitation to all ABUs to come here and create chaos?

With regard to Berbs ban I have no idea what he did which pissed some one off, and have no idea which mod took offence. But take a look at the other sites, United fans and myself included have often laughed at and made fun of rival players and managers. This is a football forum and not the school play ground. Do you really want to go down the path of censoring any non United fan that appears and who disagrees with you?

Not at all. I do not want that. Of course it is going to be boring if everyone agreed with everyone else. there needs to be an argument and a discussion. When someone deliberately comes here as an ABU and hurls insults and slag people off other rather than argue their case, then the mods should act and tell them this is unacceptable. I think we must be the softest board on here. Anyone thinks they can come here and cause chaos. I can remember the episode with Young. fair enough we had our views on it and other posters came on here to express disapproval etc. But when they went down into downright slagging off of the player, the manager, the club, the fans. You seem to forget that mods have in the past sent PM's to posters as well as their own mods asking them to reign it in. There are other ways to deal with comments without having to resort to bans. Bans should only be in the most extreme circumstances.

May be mods should post something so that we know that the said poster has been warned. I remember some ******ed scouser taking exception to one of my posts. He started hurling personal insults although I didn't even post about him (being a total scouser nonentity). He must either have forgotten that this is a United board and therfore he can p*ss off or he believed that this place is a free for all and he can get away with it. I would not even think of going to hurl personal insults at another poster on another board.
