Did enjoy reading the weather threads but the mods probably thought some of the threads were mimicking Matts posts.
They weren't mimicking anything just providing a light hearted respite from the dross on our board.. Even brought people from other boards on the toast and the what the **** to have for dinner thread.
The dinner, weather and toast threads were the best of the lot and they should have been allowed to stay. The Jeremy Kyle,dot cotton, etc threads were just ridiculous (not created by you).
Exactly they were good threads.. Lots of people commenting on them an having a giggle.. This site is meant to be not overly moderated and our board is being treated a bit heavy handed by someone who thinks they have the right to dictate what we all choose to talk about.. Which of our mods is doing this? as they are clearly a ****.. I messaged swarbs as I doubt he would have shut them but he doesn't seem to be about much..
Don't know who closed the threads. I volunteered my self as 4th mod with all the problems the board is having but Syd said no as he does not think having 4 mods on a board is a good idea despite Liverpool board having 4 mods.

Good riddance to those juvenile, toilet humoured threads I say. They were a perfect example of all that is wrong in this country today. Just when the nation is unified in the Jubilee celebrations that encompassed everything that is pure and unique about old Blighty, and its tapestry of culture and heritage, we were subjected to a deluge of filth and almost abject pornography in an aim to achieve what exactly? …….. Nothing! Acts like the above have compounded the dumbing down of our fine nation and have burrowed to the core of our integrity replacing it with inane “nothingness”. I for one applaud, and condone the closing of such threads; in fact the person(s) responsible should be knighted for services to humanity and well being! Indeed it is LTF.. who wouldn't wish to contribute to a thread with their favourite toast stories. Or indeed provide an update to the weather.. Or tell us what they are having for dinner.. I actually made quesidila's on the back of that thread and very nice they were too..
I've just pm' d the mods about my threads being closed.. see if any of them bother to furnish me with a response. I want the toast thread and the what the **** shall i have for dinner thread re opened... not that bothered about the weather one... though i do like a chat about the weather... proper british past time...
