Agree you cannot predict a correct result however... New manager/no Sig/lost last 2-3 games at LR by 3-4 goals so i would say although i cannot say for certain that we will win, if i was a betting man i would say the odds are better for a home win.
Well he will be watching it he is getting the sack ... Yes plus we get to test both new managers at Swansea, Norwich both of which are going to struggle.
Iâm sure that it must have been mentioned by someone already, but interesting to note (based on our final fixtures of the last few seasons) that Liverpool will be winning the league next year. Brendan will be pleased. Canât be anything but pleased with starting the season at home against a mid-table side too.

Although could have been a lot worse I would rather have played Swansea and Norwich a bit later. I think they will both struggle but new manager syndrome could come to play early in the season. I hope not though and if we get 4-6 points out of these two games it will great.
Of course both Swansea and Norwich will struggle as they have new managers. But QPR will clearly finish safe in mid table as they avoided relegation last season so will kick on to great things.
They all are tough matches. Swansea at home, however is maybe the dream start for the new season. It all depends if we could sign decent players to us during the summer.
Cant work out how Swans/Norwich/WBA will do with the new managers? Swans boss is new to this and it could all go 'pete tong'. they have lost Sig and may lose others so they could stuggle. Norwich have CH and i respect him but good manager in the Championship/crap in the Prem. hard one to call. WBA, i have forgot who the manager is so cannot comment. I still think that Saints/Reading will be relegation fodder but West Ham have Sam who knows the Prem and will get results (crap football but results).
Wonderful symmetry about this fixture list; September's is a mirror image of January's! We need to get a good start to build confidence, and an away win at Norwich would be just the tonic; our last one was v Stoke in November, so there's one to go early!!
