He doesn't seem to me to be a Boas type of player. Also the big stars at Chelsea couldn't work with Boas and I feel that Ade is just too big a character for him.

A lot of the big players at Chelsea weren't suited to Villas-Boas' preferred style of football.
I don't see why that would be the case with Adebayor.

Could the manager handle his personality?
I'm not convinced that it's actually a problem any more, but if it's perceived as one, then we presumably won't buy him.

If Harry was managing some other club with exactly the same record, and even behaving as he does (which I must say I really don't care about, and don't see why it bothered so many people), a lot of people on here would be saying we should get Harry as manager!

I'm warming to Martinez by the way, and he certainly seems to know what he's talking about as a pundit at least.

I never looked at it in reverse Spurlock. The personality is the factor for me PNP. Strangely I can see him working with VDV,Bale and Modders. But I don't why I'm saying this because I don't think he's the right boss for us anyway.

on the same note..im sure when WBA sacked Di Matteo.....what was to follow was not even in God's plans.

As for not caring about his behaviour..thats because you just enjoy the fruits of his management on the pitch..but Levy is the one who has to try to communicate with his attitude and demeanour on a daily basis.

i think if you was Levy you wouldnt be saying what you just said Vim.

i know what you mean though..one sulk from Ade and i suppose AVB would give his parking spot to the dinner lady..and Ade isnt one to take that kind of thing lightly...so i do understand what you mean.

The Sun is reporting a player revolt if he comes.
With AVB's poor reputation in the UK I can actually
believe it. Is Levy so stupid that he wants to bring
total chaos to our club than positive stability?

Surely that's just been completely made up, based on mix reactions from the fans?

The BEEB are now confirming that Spurs are contacting AVB's representatives. How can anyone see this as being a good idea? A 34 year old manager with barely enough experience to fill one sheet of A4 paper, causes a player revolt within weeks, not months, but weeks of his arrival and some of us on here think he'll be a good signing to manage and balls up another Premier league club which unlike Chelsea, doesn't have the financial clout to swiftly undo the mess he will inevitably cause. Levy and Lewis must be smoking something to even consider him an option, let alone interview him or offer him the job.

This will end in tears if he's appointed. Another one in the long line of Levy disasters in the making.

It's one of the dumbest ideas I've heard, and I've never taken Levy for being gullible. The guy may, or may not, become a great coach. However, the fact is, that he's proved virtually nothing so far. He's had a good couple of seasons at Porto, and then the Chavski fiasco. Sorry, let him go and get his experience somewhere else..far too big a risk at this stage.

Maybe, but players from all clubs are in constant contact with each other.
If I was a player I would be pissed off.

He's certainly a big risk, but I do not believe this "revolt" the papers are speaking of. It's just another story to sell papers IMO, based on mixed reactions from fans. just another new twist in the daily bullshit.
