They share the red mist problem! Which other sports people share this genetic defect, in your esteemed opinions? Humorous examples preferable.
God I hate the close season!! How about Johnny Wilkinson and David Beckham? Both very OCD on their sport! Sorry it's not that amusing
Cheers Northolt, it really is good to have you back mate. Thanks for the link and the vids. The latter are indeed timeless.
Morons in the crowd booing the DQ, these are probably the people calling for a lifetime ban for what barton did.
That's the way I saw it too. Better to have smashed his racquet. Got to feel sorry for the poor old line judge but do feel sorry for Nalbandian too. Once his adrenaline wears off, he will relive that moment for ever and ask why the hell he did such a stupid thing.
If Nalbandian felt badly for the line judge, he hid it well! Seemed completely indifferent to the poor bloke dripping claret all over the court. Cue, personal injury action...
The referee had no choice other than to disqualify him...but I do sympathise with the crowd; some of them would have spent hundreds to watch the final!!
It obviously wasn't intentional as he kicked the board which ended up hitting the guy, if the guy hadn't been cut the game wouldn't have ended, despite it being the exact same offence/action.
Yeah but the same would happen in any sport apart from ice hockey if a player physically abused an official. Sporting integrity is more important than a few toffs who feel they didnt get their moneys worth. They should be abusing the moron who wouldnt apologise for his actions.
A player got DQd for hitting a ball away that hit a ball girl at wimbledon even though there was no injury.
I thought it was someone else but its a black and white rule, like golf if you play the wrong ball or sign a score card after your opponent makes a mistake. Both are DQs and are much more unfair than this.
