Wow, because we were a bottom division side, for the Council to build a 25k Stadium is insane!
Not to mention the fact that the KC is currently undergoing some plans to see whether it can be extended to 38k.
Then what could you try and insult us for? You'd be running out of things quite quickly.
Elland Road is 37,697 capacity. Therefore you couldn't say anything about that.
We're finishing higher than you. You can't say anything about that.
We've been more successful than you in recent years. You can't say anything about that.
You'll just have to go back to talking about the past as Leeds fans do ;)

I actually have been reading Not606 for years. Before I thought I'd join in.
Most of the posts are on the Leicester one I think. I think it's funny discussing the delusion and insanity amongst other Clubs. There are many other Forums in which I can Discuss Hull City.

You can only talk about success when you actually win something !! and oh yes our stadium has a larger capacity than yours, always has always will and we will always be a bigger team than you in terms of success, fans , oh and stadium size, city size, and ask any prem fan would they rather play Hull or Leeds United, I think you know the answer, now toddle off and wind some Grimsby fans up about how big a team you are, but thank you for making me laugh this afternoon you are a remarkable joke, like your teams trophy cabinet I suppose ............... bye bye,:1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0176-smoke

You're hilarious! Ever considered taking up stand up comedy?
I think if you're Capacity is 37,697 and we're possibly upgrading to 38,000 in the coming years, the simple Maths suggests our Stadium will be bigger...
And yes, our trophy cabinet is empty, apart from the Play off trophy in 2008. But when was the last time you won a trophy then? Again living in the past.

Cage, I reckon you are a closet Leeds fan, so I have set you a test. Below are 3 questions about matches between Leeds and Hull from last season. I have deliberately only asked about last season as I did not want to be seen a glory hunter from years back <ok>

You have to score 2 out of 3.

Q1) Who scored Hulls consolation goal when Leeds wholloped you 4-1 last season?

Q2) Name any of the scorers during the Leeds reserves v Hull reserves game last season? (which Leeds also won 4-1)

Q3) What was the score during Hulls home match vs Leeds last season?

Q1) A Leeds player scored an own goal I do believe and it was one of the worst away days I've every been to.

Q2) Don't pay attention to the reserves

Q3) 0 - 0, and we all took the micky out of your stupid scarf waving which you all insist on doing. Koren narrowly missed a belter and Becchio is a diving prat.

    Q1) 14th :cheesy:

    Q2) 8th ;)

Q3) Hull City, the Allams refuse to sell their best players, saved us from liquidation and have promised to invest in this year. Which is a massive contrast to Ken Bates who sells his best players, buys **** all, and everyone hates him!
Edit: Warnock is a moaning prick who is gonna ask for backing from Bates, Bates tells him to **** himself and Warnock complains and starts being his regular ****er self. Steve Bruce has a batter managerial record and knows talent when he sees it.

Charliej, had a very quick meeting with the Leeds lads, and your punishment is as follows :-

You have to declare your undying love for one of the Millwall lads (and you're not allowed to let them know that its a punishment) <yikes>

    Steve Bruce <laugh>

You're seriously proud of finishing a couple of places above us after one of the lowest finishes in our history? How ****ing sad is that!?

Considering your recent Seasons, it's probably one of your recent highest finishes. Remember you couldn't get outta League 1 for a few years.

And now you're trying to make fun of a club for being in the lower leagues? You might want to have a look at the vast majority of your history.

Leeds fans again bringing up History because that's the only way you can get to us, is it not?
Yes, we spent the majority of our History fighting at the wrong end of the English League.
Doesn't take away the fact, that we have become a lot more successful in recent years. Since back to back promotion from League 2 to the Championship, we've been on the up. For example:

    2003/04 Season:
Promotion with 88 points under Peter Taylor

    2004/05 Season:
Promotion with 86 points under Peter Taylor

    2005/06 Season:
Acquit ourselves well in the Championship with an 18th placed finish. Leeds are back on the fixture list and Hull City beat Leeds 1-0 at the KC with a goal from Jon Parkin. - Under Peter Taylor

    2006/07 Season:
Taylor leaves for Crystal Palace and is replaced with Phil Parkinson. City have a poor start to the season but Parkinson gets sacked and replaced with Phil Brown. City beat the drop and Leeds go down instead. - Under Phil Brown

    2007/08 Season:
City are relegation favourites but manage to finish 3rd and beat Bristol City in the Play Off Final to earn promotion to the Premier League for the first time. - Under Phil Brown

    2008/09 Season:
City have memorable results such as scoring 3 goals at Old Trafford, beating Arsenal 2-1, beating Spurs 1-0, drawing with Liverpool 2-2 at Anfield and being top of the League for one night. City stay in the Premier League after beating Newcastle for survival - Under Phil Brown

    2009/10 Season:
Poor season sees Phil Brown sacked and replaced with Ian Dowie. City suffer relegation to the Championship - Under Ian Dowie

    2010/11 Season:
Nigel Pearson succeeds Ian Dowie but City are in £51million debt and the threat of liquidation hovers over the Club. The Allams takeover was successful and City's debt was wiped, City make a late push for the Play offs but was unsuccessful. - Under Nigel Pearson

    2011/12 Season:
Pearson leaves City for Leicester and is succeeded by Nick Barmby. City remain in the play offs most of the Season but a bad run in the 2nd half of the Season sees them drop out of the Play off picture but they finish above Leicester and Leeds.

There's your reason as to why we've had so many managers, and why we've become a lot more successful than other Clubs in Yorkshire at the moment.
There's no doubt your Club has a big History but even you have to admit, City have become one of the top 2 sides if not the best side in Yorkshire in recent years.
