I think this comment is just you striking out tbh, trying to rile me I think. It doesnt work. Aisha was betrothed upon reaching maturity but married much later. The consummation of marriage was likely around 19
What you have to understand about hadiths is that ALL are written down, including the weak ones. Its the daleel or chain of narration that strengthens or weakens it
What amazes me is that you and your ilk love to spout the whole 'subjugation of women' mantra yet dont listen to what Aisha had to say on the matter, instead choosing to believe a very weak hadith from a man who was outed as a liar by all who knew him and was actually thrown out of the country. Do you think he may have had a grudge? Also interesting is that if you read the literature of teh time written by the 'enemies' of Islam its not mentioned. Surely would have been a huge stick to beat the prophet with

As for the 'as a father' bit. I honestly believe the Islamic practices and teachings are more beneficial to my kids (girls and boys) than what I see around me currently. Girls are a piece of meat (something highlighted by the wid ye threads) on here. I am suprised that someone who holds his daughter so dear is a party to the denegration of women in general. The question to ask is would you rather teach your child (or mine so you dont see it as a personal attack) the values of honour, virtue etc or accept that they will be a piece of meat for some teenage lad? would you rather see her covered or leched (sp) at by lads?
It may simply be down to upbringing/culture etc, but I have never understood a husband/father who is happy for his wife/young daughter to be dressed up to the nines showing flesh to all and sundry, being leered at and 'touched up' etc

The rochdale case is simply animals preying on vulnerable young girls who have been failed by the system amd then abused by ****s who deserve to be castrated with a spoon. I do have my 'theories' around it based on what I have witnessed over the years, however those theories consist of asian mens attitude to white women in the main and may be a small part of the pie around what happened in rochdale, however I wouldnt want to divert from the fact that these animals were ****s pure and simple

It's not favouritism Fan. But as usual, you're so arrogant to presume how someone else thinks. Nobody who knows me would ever accuse me of favouritism towards my daughter. You've not got a clue.

Ahh, the old "that was the custom of the day". Just face it Fan, Muhammad, in all likelihood, ****ed a child. I have no time for Christianity, but at least Jesus didn't abuse children.

The answer to that is glaringly obvious, even for someone with limited intelligence. Women HAVE to convert to Islam if they want to marry a Muslim man. To be honest, I think it's a case of settling for the best they can get for these girls. I see these converted white girls around a fair bit these days, and without exception, they are munters. Maybe the clothes don't help, or the fact they usually look miserable, but still. Their husbands are usually the uglier Asian blokes as well. The blokes can't get a decent-looking Asian girl, and the girls are so desperate for someone that they'll convert to an oppressive religion for it.

Or so you tell yourself to make it feel right.

Why would anyone believe what she was REPORTED as saying? In books heavily biased towards Muhammad, they're hardly likely to report that Aisha "wishes the big hairy man would stop touching me and making me do things" are they? Islam wouldn't really have taken off if Muhammad came across as a bit of a ****.

Outed as a liar? And he told the truth about Muhammad's child abuse? What a coincidence.

As I have already said, the sexual abuse of children was commonplace at the time, so his enemies are unlikely to find that much fault with it. But surely as a prophet, he should have been above such lascivious behaviour.

Yet more hypocrisy from TFWNN. Earlier you mentioned a beautiful woman in Camarthen. You may not have used crude language, but the only quality of hers you referred to was her physical appearance. You objectified her. So are you any better just because you don't use misogynistic terms? Or is it just another case of TFWNN trying to fit in with the GC lot as you do with your "beeling" and "get tae ****"?

My daughter will certainly not be dressing like a tart. I think you'll find that a lot of dads, white, Asian or whatever, don't accept their daughters dressing sluttily. Unfortunately, a lot of girls these days don't have a dad at home due to high numbers of divorces and separations, so they get away with a lot more.

No dad/husband that I know would be happy with that. You must know some weird dads.

Fuck me Fan, you didn't defend them. Usually you defend your fellow brothers no matter what their crime. I thought you'd use the Qu'ran to justify the girls' suffering ("those who reject faith will be punished with terrible agony in this world"), or maybe Shariah, as Muslims are allowed to own non-Muslims as slaves according to Islamic law I believe. But fair play to you, your morals are not completely skewed.

I think you will find its what some define as 'crime' when I defend. I did use the Quran/Islam/shariah though to reach my conclusions

I think you are thinking non muslim employees, Islamically one of teh most rewarde actions is to free slaves

I think the suprise made you 'skew' up your sentencing there, or is it beel?

You mention your disabled lad more than your other kids. Hence you "specify". Is he your favourite?
Yes I think he is, simply because compared to the others he is the one who has been the centre of my attention since birth. If he is not around I feel his 'loss' the most etc, so by definition i would say yes

So Islam meant that little girls were spared sexual relations for another 3 or 4 years. Woop-di-doo. She was still too young at 9.
are you being ignorant on purpose? 'maturity' is the key word. and as explained it takes into account society. so a 14 year old 100 years ago (and factors like life expectancy) made it acceptable not so today. I would argue that even 16 isnt today.

I had heard 13 or 14. I don't give a **** about Jesus, but what has the age of his mother when he was born got to do with him? It's hardly a reflection on him is it?
are you serious? firstly look at what your comment was that I wrote this in response to and secondly (according to the bible which i beliebve is wrong incidentally) it was the holy spirit that impregnated her ie God (depending on which branch you follow)

I had heard about Blair's sister-in-law. But the people you mention aren't exactly normal, everyday people are they?

The people you were writing about were not intellectuals or good looking in your opinion, hence I highlighted the high profile, some good looking and certainly educated people. I know many people who are 'normal' who have converted and dont fit your picture but you dont so pointless to cite them I thought

All just opinion. My opinion is that a bird would have to be pretty desperate to take on a very restrictive and oppressive religion to get a fella.

and the likes of lauren booth, yvonne ridley, Kristian Backer etc prove your opinion wrong. As does the fact that Islam was the first to introduce equality in inheritance, marriage, ownership, business etc. Sorry but you clearly have no idea of the topic

You believe so based on heavily biased and manipulative writing.
It would be if that were true, That is why I expicitly mention 'multiple sources'.

I'm not surprised she lived a long time after him. He was decades older than her, the dirty old bugger.
He was indeed older than her, I do find it Ironic though that even today most people aspire to be in that position privately yet knock it, jealousy?
Also you do know his first wife was older and he reamined married solely to her until her death

You hear of religious cults where fathers gladly give up their daughters for cult-leaders. It's hardly unheard of.

yes you do hear of these things I suppose, you also hear of father raping their daughters etc but it isnt the norm because it has happened

A devout Muslim lecturing someone on sexual equality
Islam was the first to give equality to women in a vareity of fields. !400 years ago in fact. Britain caught up in the mid 1900's and even then it was certain factors that dictated. I think they were still discussin brain sizes in 1920's?
This is furtherr showing your ignorance tbh for the record even western sources admit:
    - the Prophet Muhammad was a feminist for his day.
    - The doctrine he laid out as the revealed word of God considerably improved the status of women in 7th century Arabia.
    - In local pagan society, it was the custom to bury alive unwanted female newborns; Islam prohibited the practice.
    - Women had been treated as possessions of their husbands; Islamic law made the education of girls a sacred duty and gave women the right to own and inherit property.
    - Muhammad even decreed that sexual satisfaction was a woman's entitlement. He was a liberal at home as well as in the pulpit.

I think it's pretty well-known on here that my wife gives me a hard time sometimes. I'm hardly your archetypal patriarch.
well we only have your word really

    There's no smoke without fire.
really? so there must be truth in 'white women being easy', 'white girls being slags' etc etc <doh>

No, I'll just pick the bits that seem plausible (Muhammad ****ed a kid just like the rest were doing) and leave the bits that sound ridiculous (god and messenger). If someone told you that they were driving to the shops when suddenly their car started to fly, would you disbelieve the whole story, even the credible bit about driving to the shops? No, you'd just doubt the ludicrous part about the flying car. This is the problem with religious nuts like you. Just because some of what you read sounds reasonable, you believe the whole thing, instead of using logic and common sense. Unlike an atheist like myself, who believes that yes, there may have been a carpenter called Jesus who liked to talk about god. But no, he didn't turn water into wine or feed the five thousand. I believe the sensible bits, but not the outlandish.
so as i thought, you pick and choose
<laugh> you have used a traditionally religious type of analogy there. If I told you atree fell into a river, became a boat and then road me across you would call it ludicrous. Yet that is your view on the worlds creation. something from nothing. That sounds plausible to you?
As for the Jesus bits, I never believed he did some of what is claimed

I did read that. But from 5-7 to 9 is not enough of an improvement for me.
    19?

**** me Fan you sound like a right creep.
how so? by paying someone compliment to their face rather than childish play ground leching? I have no problem paying compliments to anyone or recieving them.

But you're not still learning English now (though you could do with a few lessons) so you can drop the obsequious mimicry.
I learn something new every day, especially in terms of local 'isms' and sayings etc. I see nothing obsequious about it. I see it as good manners. Wish more people would take care to learn customs etc would make the world more friendly
I can see why you see it as such though from our conversations on here, much easier to hate in ignorance

What a surprise, Fan knows someone and that acquaintance makes him better qualified to comment.
I see you have nothing to say so respond in this manner. I noticed its ok for you to cite examples of what you 'see' and base all your views on that, but somehow in response all mine have to be referenced and sourced from certain sources.

Lipstick, perfume and nice clothes don't equal dressed like a tart.
I guess it depends on the 'nice clothes', Just curious though that Islamically its sunnah to make an effort for your husband (in terms of clothing, perfume, make up etc) but publicly its the hijaab, jilbaab etc and no over powering perfumes and make up (although certain types are allowed), where as in non muslim households at home its the run of the mill stuff (stick a cap on, tie the hair up, trackies and a tshirt etc) but on a night out without hubby get the hair done, get the lippy on, get the expensive perfume on, get the heels on the midi/mini, crop top or little balck dress etc, why? and for whose benefit?
same with the blokes (obviously not in minis etc unless they are partial to it). I personally thin coming home after a night out with the lads, pissed out of your head and then having sex with your mrs (remembering nothing about it the next day) is the biggest insult you can give her

But the Quran states that non-believers should suffer. These girls suffered. Don't they deserve it according to Allah?
we have been through this before, The quran clearly states it is for the believers, a lot of the punishments in it are for the believers.
In terms of the non believers you are confusing the 'suffering' from now and the hereafter. It certainly will be suffering in the here after for the non believers
However the emphasis is on not making anyone suffer in this life. It is haram to cause suffering to anyone including the non believers even in times of war. The first notion of good treatment of prisoners came from Islam (in written form). In fact non muslims under muslim rule are allowed their own counsel/courts etc

Am afraid another ignorant statment on your behalf, further highlighting your lack of knowledge on the topic and further providing proof that your decision on atheism etc is not based on an informed decision

So if it's Islamic to free slaves as a reward, it's also Islamic to have slaves in the first place. So what's your problem with these girls being slaves if it's Islamic to have slave? Maybe their masters would have freed them at some point? That would have been Islamic also. Just as it's Islamic to cause the suffering of non-believers. What did these blokes do that's not in the Quran?

re the slaves no it isnt. Being the practice of non muslims, the muslims often had to 'buy' the slave in the first place to give him/her their freedom. Also I think a lot of people misunderstand the notion of slave/servant/employee

The causing of suffering is anti-islamic (see above). As for the blokes sex outside of wedlock for starters? your ignorance is astounding

I'd imagine smiting people and striking terror would cause suffering. Hence causing suffering is NOT anti-Islamic. You're right though, the sex outside wedlock isn't in the book. How will Allah punish them for that one crime in his eyes?

So why did you mention your mistaken belief that I have a favourite? More hypocrisy? I would say I felt sorry for your non-favourite kids, but if it means they get less input from you, it will be a blessing I'm sure.
I asked the question because I remembered you saying it and eventually confirming it above.
As for the sympathy for my kids, I see what your doing here. Basically if I respond with something about your kids you will cry and say you begged for ban due to me insulting your kids. Anyway I am happy for your little lad as his disability will ensure he is not culpable for his beliefs etc ensuring him paradise. your daughter....... unless of course she finds a decent muslim and converts

So if Mo tried to introduce an age of consent, but didn't follow that rule himself (sex with a 9 year-old), was he a hypocrite also? No wonder you're such a hypocrite then, if that's the example you're supposed to follow.
I think this point has been emphasised enough, your inability to grasp it is due to 'beel' 19 is the age

Fiestly, I don't care what the bible says. Secondly, I mentioned Jesus, not god. Thirdly, if you listen to the bible, nobody actually ****ed Mary. Unlike Aisha.
should that be 'firstly'? your beel is getting the better of you (by your own definition).
If you dont care why did you bring it up? My responses have been based on points you made/raised.
Depending on which bible you read, '"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God." (Luke 1:35 RSV)

It's not like you not to hold back when it comes to anecdotal evidence. I'm surprised you've not regaled us with tales of your 15 friends who have all married non-Muslims.
I see you will deflect again, is it just ironic then that you have based all you have said on converts based on what you supposedly see? or is it ok for you and not for me, sounds like the H word

So why are Muslim women so often oppressed?
'muslim women'? this is a a topic dear to my heart tbh. firstly you have to see what you see as 'oppression' and secondly you have to address the notion of said oppression being based on religion. Many would argue that oppression of women in the western world is far greater

    But all biased.
says who, you? only because it suits your argument. No basis in anythng factual. In fact as the conversation continues your responses are becoming desperate and contradictory. Not forgetting your spelling and grammar going to pot. Which you have often described as anger/beel losing the argument etc

So most people you know want to **** 9 year olds? You keep some strange company Fan.
another desperate attempt, kudos for keeping the spelling correct. I could cite examples but you know exactly the point I made. This response from you arises generally when you have no comeback, 'owned' I think is the word?

Then he thought he'd have a change, so went from cougar to lolita?
11 in total. different ages, countries etc

So Mo, as cult-leader, got to shag his followers' kids. Still happens in cults today.
    aah another desperate attempt
If you look carefully he actually got a pick from beauties around the world. He married them

You havent addressed the rights bit I gave you here
We only have anybody's word for anything on here, you dimwit.
new your were going to say that, that was lifted from newspaper articles (independent/times etc)
    you are predictable

Yes, some white women are easy slags. What's your point?
no smoke without fire, must be all of them <doh>

Don't you? You say below that you don't believe SOME of the things Jesus was supposed to have done? But you obviously DO believe some of it. You pick and choose. And do you believe everything you hear in the news? Or none of it? Or just some of it like most people? If it's the latter, then you pick and choose. Everyone does, you imbecile. Yet more hypocrisy from TFWNN.
difference being my decision is informed. I look at th ethings attributed to Jesus and see the arguments for and against, choosing to believe the stronger argument. You have demonstarated in just this response how you will latch onto the lie of age of aisha and ignore completely the rights women got under Islam
Everyone doesnt 'pick and choose' intelligent people look at something and derive a conclusion, admitting when wrong. people like you just ridicule. Must be insecurity

I don't really have a view on the creation of the world. I don't know how it happened, and to be honest, don't really care.
This statement in essence describes you to a T. you dont know yet argue agaisnt something you clearly dont have the slightest bit of knowledge about.
You say you dont care but cared nough to engage me in conversation (again) and continue to do so

I know youre taking the piss <doh> ist your go to phrase when backed into a corner

Bollocks. It was 9. Why would he wait till 19 anyway?
prove it. because he got married around that time

I imagine the lady herself would've agreed with me.
and you would imagine wrong. I went to pick up 2 items that I bought on ebay. since then she has awarded me 2 stars and both comments ended with '...and a lovely bloke'

Nah. You're just copying people to fit in.
:emoticon-0136-giggl i see no response then?

I don't use a fraction of the amount of anecdotal evidence you use. You always seem to know someone, or have worked somewhere that you feel gives your opinion more weight.
sorry but you can get tae **** with that one. 'the muslims at your work place', 'the lass you know' 'the women you have seen' etc etc etc
when you cite sources/refrences I respond in kind. decide of you want the argument to be based on factual evidence or hearsay.
even the age thing you keep harping back to is what you heard

My wife doesn't really like going out without me anyway. You're just stereotyping again.
but she does? and dresses up? and fits the rest of what I wrote as do you?

The biggest insult? Is that not a bit of an exaggeration? I would say taking another wife, which is ok in your book, is much more of an insult.
No exaggeration, if you cant be sober to have sex its an insult. I also find it demeaning and animalistic
Taking another wife is interesting. In western culture this is seen as bad and is in fact illegal. So to have a contract (and certain permissions) and resposibilities is actually seen as wrong and as an 'insult' but having an affair or having a mistress is fine. Never understood the mentality on that one
With women outnumbering men by upto 7-1 in some places and the documented evidence of what is happening to societies outside of marriage/single families/ fatherless families etc (something you cited) you would think this was in fact an excellent solution

    003.056
YUSUFALI: "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

    What were you saying?
oh good a reference at last, see now you are trying.
Firstly this refers to Allah and his punishments. NOT individuals causing suffering to other individuals which, as I stated, is haram
you seem to take bits of the conversation and are now taking bits of this surah
This bit is from Suarah Al-Imran, Basically the 'house of Imran' or the family of Imran to which Mary (and thus Jesus belonged). It was revealed in Madinah it has 200 verses. You cite 1 (verse 56) in isolation (pick and choose?)
If you had read say verse 55 you will see Allah is addressing Jesus (isa) and what he had said to him (

"I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." (8:12-13)

"Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides, whom ye may not know (8:60)"
    ahh surah Anfal
revealed during the battle of Badr where 313 muslims (mainly women) defeated a huge army by the help and will of Allah. and literally meaning 'the spoils of war'.
The first verse you cited (8:12) is not aimed at the muslims, you missed the beginning ''(remember) when your lord revealed to the angels...'' this is the nglish translatio can I suggest you read Ibn Kathir tafseer for a true understanding
8:60 - again read the verses before and after and the tafseer. Its simply a strategy for war

Au contraire Fan, I think you need to have another look at the Quran yourself.
I know the quran, including the whole ayahs and the tafseer. Hence I am firm in my belief and able to respond as above

Why then does it mention reward? Reward for what? Being someone else's slave? You're not making sense.
dont get this tbh? could you clarify

It mentions reward for freeing slaves, in fact it is one of the biggest 'good deeds' in Islam
Reward isnt financial in this though if that is your thinking. Reward in the hereafter is a better way of putting it

How will Allah punish them for that one crime in his eyes?

that doesnt make sense I am afraid retype and I will respond
sex outside of wedlock is prohibited in Islam
