Manchester city didn't win the premier league at the first attempt- unfortunately in the modern world if you keep throwing money at it it will more times than not

The difference in class and League from Leicester and Manchester City however speaks for itself.
Throwing money at a Premier League side who can lure pure talent such as Aguero, David Silva, Nasri seems a better prospect than signing 'supposedly' good players from most of the English lower leagues and Championship. Do you not agree?

Can you see many premier league players dropping to the championship?

We had Johnson on loan from man city and all he did was keep the treatment table warm

If you look in the right places and have the right contacts, you can sign youth from other Premier League Clubs such as our link with Warren Joyce at Manchester United which Pearson has attempted to hijack since returning to you from us.

Or... It was one of them recommended players and so he dived in for the loan capture. Haven't you noticed that Pearson is all of a sudden delving into Manchester United's youth a bit more since returning to you from us? Or did that just slide by your attention?

Trying and succeeding is another story though. Joyce recommends players to join us, therefore putting us in the driving seat if we're competing for the signature of a loanee with another Club.

Haven't you got your 'Tiger Mauling ' dance to practise for the start of the season.....jog on little boy, oh and while your at it hand Chester over. You know he'll come so it will soften the blow when he does.

Promotion season 2007/08. Fraizer Campbell joins on loan from Man Utd, scores 15 goals. PROMOTION

First Premier League Season. Manucho signs on loan from Man Utd. Scored the winning goal at Craven Cottage where Fulham fans had only seen 4 losses. Arguably the 3 points that kept us up that Season.

Back in the Championship. The signings of Cameron Stewart, Corry Evans. Late Play off push, eventually unsuccessful due to lacklustre home form under Nigel Pearson.

Last Season: James Chester, Joe Dudgeon, Robbie Brady, Joshua King, Cameron Stewart (permanently), Corry Evans (permanently). Bring rave reviews and the current Leicester boss is hoping to sign a minimum of 2 of them players.

Little boy? I'm 36. The Tiger Mauling dance has been practiced. It's all ready for when you visit the Stadium. That Mauling dance is for a laugh and so that the away fans copy and also look like twats. You all fall into the trap.

Chester won't be coming to Leicester because our owners tell you no every time. There is no way on this Planet, unless of course Chester hands in a request like Pearson did. But he gets regular first team football here and has said he loves it here. There's more chance of Ireland winning the Euro's.
    Oh wait...

To be fair, Manucho was utter dog ****e.....

It was a good night out in Fulham, but other than that goal, he was hopeless.

I was going to put Manucho was ****e. But the topic was about success, and had he not scored that winning goal in what was an abysmal second half to the Season, we would have gone down. Nobody expected us to win there, Craven Cottage was a fortress.

True, it was a proper smash and grab too, we barely got out our own half in that game.

So from this we can see that the fewer Man Utd players you bring in, the more successful you are. So the answer to lcmeltonfc's question is: Not a lot.

Not particularly because we basically got rid of our entire squad with the relegation to the Championship. These are young players, who haven't really had massive experience of Championship level football and still managed to mount a Play off push. In the past we've added the loanees with experience, such as Campbell alongside Deano, whereas in more recent Seasons, that's been harder to do, since as in we've started from scratch and added these to the team to make sure the future's great.
    Therefore you're wrong.
