It was another case of Coventry today, we didn't have our scoring boots on and Hull managed to hang on more because of that fact than them actually playing well.

Guzan made some good saves, but we should've won this game...Hull were out of it for too long and we had too many good chances.

Next time you lose Tiger we will see if you begin to understand that some victories and some defeats are "undeserved" - unless for some inexplicable reason you do not believe luck can play a part

lol MadMoose - exactly, succinctly put! i'll leave it to you from now on lol. i, too, compared it to the Coventry game. Frustrating as hell, but we played much better to day than we did last week imho.

not our fault you can't put the ball in the net and we can is it?

you'd lost your last 2 so not exactly in form whereas we "know" how to play on the road.. look at our record..

    so yes we deserved it..

No one is blaming Hull, that's the point...we're blaming ourselves.

If your view is that any team that loses doesn't deserve the win, then fine.

By any means that's a pretty boring view though, and we've definitely deserved a loss in games we've won more than this.

Not the best of games, I think we've run out of legs.

Hull had done their homework - an extra man in midfield, and they left Lloyd Doyley as our spare man ..... nuff said really. Our spare area is left back where we can have a bit of extra time to create our best moves. Damn and blast do they know that Andrew Taylor was our only decent left back since ....... err Paul Robinson.

So MM now has to plan again. In the meantime there is a phoney war, whilst Malky waits to meet the new suits we all think there will be money for :

    A new pitch.
New changing rooms in the South West corner (presumably so that the "Main Stand can be abandoned).
New players to replace the inevitable departures. Although after today's display who would want Loach, Sordell or many others!!! LOL.

This season has been a great success in so many ways, but we all know the challenge will only get harder.

This is the Championship. A lot of our losses over the previous two seasons were undeserved as that's just the way that league works (either that or we were blowing the Ref's pools coupon).

This year we've not really bossed many games, and yet have come away with some decent results. Undeserved? Maybe.

Just so you know, the first goal this season has been critical for us. Score it, and we haven't lost a match (NB. except Brentford in the cup). Concede it, and we haven't won a match.

Good luck for the rest of the season. I'm sure we'll be seeing you again next season.

Imperial - that's my point - some victories and some defeats are "undeserved" in the sense that they do not reflect the game - and to be honest they balance out so we are not moaning about it - this season we have done better than we expected and are pretty content - yes a play off position would have been an added bonus but it was not to be. It was WhiteRoseTiiger calling people fools and saying that there is no such thing as an undeserved victory that brought my comment. Good luck to you too - you never know you could yet sneak into the playoffs if results elsewhere go right for you

At the end of the day if you make errors in front of goal at both ends you will lose! Seems to be happening to us for far too frequently!
Congrats to Hull on another good away result!

it's interesting how different perceptions can be. from the Vicarage Road end the referee was a definite homer. he was very poor, made lots of mistakes but always to your advantage it seemed.

Oregon - I could hear that impression from The Rookery, it seemed to come from a handball shout from Hull that was not given and we hit the post. From The Rookery, the lino nearest us looked a definate "awayer" and was flagging everything for you...as you say different perceptions.

BTW - What is the Oregon connection? I spent a fair amount of time in that fair state and I have some old friends living there...
