INDEED....... the best outcome for lfc from this trounament is our players join agger for a decent summer holiday ASAP. we've a yank tour in july to worry about so a hmmering off spain is eating into their feet up time. far better for shevcenko to stick it to terry for the torment imposed, rooney to be sent off and hodgson and him blamed for it... gerrard to be "heroic", johnson to make 3 off the line clearances before Ukraine get a pen when rooney fouls someone off a corner.
Of course, the alternative is we win the group and face either Italy or Croatia where we would probably be packing our bags anyway.
