If this doesnt kick start the board nothing will.

I've just staggered back from the afternoon session in the boozer to find the advertiser on my mat, two days late as usual- lazy little teenager and in the pull out its only a Boyes's's' Sale started yesterday at 9am sharp.

    I'm distraught!!

Boy's Protonic Sports Jacket £4.50 for the lads.

Girls EX Chainstore vests and Bootleg jeans for the girls £2.00 and £4.00 respectivley.

Mens Marl Notchneck T-shirt £4.00 and Diadora Boxers £3.50

And wait for it-- Ladies Hunkermoller Bra £2.50 Bikini Briefs £1.00 and Thongs £1.00!! Hunkermoller FFS

There'll be nowt left when i send Mrs R on Monday.

I'm off for a lie down.

    Your paper boys a twat.

No chance they'll have any Diadora shreddies left come Monday.

This news reaches me too late in the day to get down Hessle Road and has put me in a state of furious anger at missing out on these bargains.

Sometimes it's best to keep this sort of news to yourself Chazz.

Saw a pair of Diadora Borg elite for sale on E Bay the other day for £289.

I had a pair of those 25 years ago, cost me about a tenner from Jim Bell.

FFs,i didn't know Branshomle had their own Boyses ! Is it better than Hessle road's ? I can't see it myself. The thing is,i don't do Branny because me x's brother is a security guard there.Worse still,i think she lives there too.

Im not being posh or anything but i do have my standards and...well Bransholme seems to smell a bit.

Cheeky ****er I was brought up on Bransholme.

If we're talking smelly parts of Hull check out Sculcoates Lane.

That Tannery smells like death and on a hot day Air Street is almost unbearable. I can't believe some bright spark has built a new housing development within spitting distance.

Back on track, there's also a Boyes on Holderness Road but I'm loyal to Hessle Road these days.

I'm posh now and Hessle Road is the flag ship store.

It is simply the only Boyes to be seen in.

Nfu mate i didn't mean to be disrespectful to your roots. Branny is a lovely place to wake up in every day im sure. I myself am an Orchard park ex pat,and i don't go there anymore due to...things that happened there. Not to say i didn't have a fine upbringing,i did. It's just, well iv'e moved on.

No offence taken pal, I was kidding.

As you'll know it doesn't matter where you're brought up, it's how you're brought up that counts.

Talking of bad smells, our place is having it's bogs done up. So they've put a trio of them addloo jobs in the car park. They get serviced every friday, until the work is done. The smell from them on a friday morning is abolutely staggering.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with these inhuman portaloos ?

Not only that, the first ever store opened in Scarborough in 1881! They also have stores as far south as Cambridgeshire and as far north as county Durham and Cumbria!

I knew they were a Scarborough company, but I didn't realise they had 41 stores.
