I think he's getting sold, which is a shame cos him in the mood with the ball at his feet is IMO one of the finest sights in football.

I think that he would be daft to consider leaving at the moment. MH obviously has plans to rebuild and shape the R's - my gut feeling is he will stay IF MH can build a side round him. However, I do not want to see us as a one trick pony, more of a team that can play in several different formations.

Does he? I haven't got that.
But it's not up to him really, he either signs or gets sold, and one way or the other , I hope it's done quick, not like last year!<grr>

With Barton out of the way Adel Taarbt is a great replacement (why oh why did we sign Barton anyway) Ok I did sing his praises (barton) after the game at Wolves but has since gone back to his old ways he is a liabilty to the club and is certainly not captain material, a captain should lead by example as Joey shown much in that respect. Adel has got to stay and if MH brings in the right players we can go far in this division. MH should stamp his authority by naming a new club captain (a true leader on the pitch and a role model off it).

I think he's starting to come to the realisation that he's not as good as he thinks he is. If he really wants out and to play in France or Spain then fair enough but I can't see many clubs too much bigger than us queueing up for him.

Watford, there is no money in the game in spain so a decent bid wont come from here. The banks will be under enormous pressure to cut their exposure to Real and Barca. It wont go down with the fans but the pressure will come from outside Spain.

after his time at Barca i am sure MH will have contacts here so we might see a decent Spanish player at LR. Tarbs wont be seen in Barca or Real's colours because at the moment he is not good enough and they are likely to sell rather than buy.

Hi Col. Where in Spain are you? I lived in Castellon for a year and loved the place. I don't think he'll ever be that level or even of Valencia or Malaga calibre but could be a star for a mid-table side that was willing to build the team around him, if such a team were to exist. I agree France would be more likely anyway.

TF will be smart enough to know that a rising star in Morocco opens up fantastic marketing opportunities in the Arab world.

He is a great talent, has started working harder and is improving. That, coupled with the club's forward momentum, should hopefully mean that a more lucrative contract would see him stay.

There are a lot worse players on double his wages.

We should do everything we can to keep him. I have high expectations for Taarabt next season and I don't think I will be disappointed.

If we let him go, who could we realistically buy to replace his flair and creativity? ............ Correct.............NO ONE!!

Taarabt's by no means the finished article but he's potentially a profitably saleable commodity. We need to be offering him a decent two year contract on appreciable premiership wages to get his interest for a start.

Without that, we'll be extremely fortunate to hold on to him for much longer.

I think TF will give him a new contract that will keep him here ...Taarabt knows that we are on the up... he would be silly to leave , this is his home and he has unfinished business

Watch the interview by TF on QPR player for some heavy hints

I wonder whether in the the next season or two, we see a migration of top players from financially stretched Spain and Italy, to the Prem with the money of the Middle East, Russia and Asia. As to Tarbs, I agree the lure is France, his family there and girlfriend

They'll either renew his contract or sell him, I don't see him staying if he refuses a new deal but MH has already stated he wants him to stay so nail him down!...
