I've gone for Marv for his all round ability/energy - you may prefer Cisse sat in front of ther back 4, Skuse's defensive qualities, Kilkenny's passing
Each has their faults (which is why they don't play in the Prem!)

Marvin by a mile as all round midfielder defends well and attacks well and will get you as good amount of goals.

Cisse has the least votes so far of the "defensive 3" - maybe not such a loss?

    Quite Bizarre.

Marvin and Skuse have received no end of general abuse on here...

Yet Cisse pretty much gets universally praised??

Usually the bigger players get the most abuse as you expect more from them. Why I heard some fans moaning about Gerrard performance last night even though I though he had an OK game and set up another goal. Cisse is just one of those players that just gets on with things

Thats why we are gonna miss him so much. all midfields need someone to hold position, break up play and protect the back 4, Cisse did this well without any fireworks.

I think we will miss him....

Cisse would of got my vote is out of the others, just for me Skuse shades it over him. But both those two in MY view before some dick think that they can try and ridicule me! Are a lot better than Elliott but miles better than Kilkenny

gone with skuse, but if you could take individual qualities from each you would have the perfect midfielder.

Skuse can pass with both feet, tackles timed to perfection, positionally sound, quick. Could be a prem midfielder in the future if he continues to improve under Del.

Like to add i'd rather see Pearson at cm than Kilkenny. He could well be a part of a middle three next year if we play that way, gets forward well and a very composed player. Other than his reluctance to shoot with his right foot..
