bought the daily telegraph and western mail today, well done to swansea and huw jinks for attracting a former world class player to the liberty, was hoping to read about it in both papers....

couldnt find it in the telegraph anywhere, then noticed a couple of small paragraphs on page 13 of the sport section! a little better with the western mail, small acknowledgement of the back page but again you have to go back a few pages to get any coverage.

a week or so back we were getting coverage everywhere for the rebranding, yet swansea attract a former world class player who lit up the 80's / 90's and get such sporadic coverage? why?

I have to admit it does seem a little unfair. The guy is a worldbeater, and yet the media in general has chosen to ignore the swanc coup.

Because Engerland won last night ..... poor post and obviously looking to WUM Swampy.

Maybe you should apply the same rules that you do to us when this type of thread appears and move it to the WUM thread. Somehow I doubt you will, typifying your double standards.

We are happy with our lot thankyou very much and sitting pretty.... looking downwards on the minions beneath :emoticon-0103-cool:

Telegraph will be full of England's win last night.

Western Mail will be full of Australia V Wales rugby.

Choose your comments carefuly lads. Thanks to (I never look at the Cardiff board) Valleyswan, this thread is now linked to a swanc thread. Childlike, imature, obsessive and underhanded some may say. Not me though.
Let's not upset anyone and get a retrospective ban from their board for coments on our own. So here goes, I like swansea. ;)

Never go on the Swansea board, their team does not interest me. Having said that part of me wants to go on there and troll every thread they have to see what impact it has. A little bit of tit for tat is childish and immature but it seems the clowns that infest our threads with their constant drivel and personal attacks only react when we tret them as the children they are. This is not a wum it's an observation cracker, just the same as this thread lead is an observation.

Best be observing the Malaysians , there almost in total control now , something that was there priority from the beginning . They;ve proven the more control they have , the more they can crap on you as they implement any of there plans on a whim . Wonder what's next ?...

In the grown up world tough decisions have to be made everything has to evolve or die, once you come to terms with the grown up world you may see the reality, until then you can wallow in your ignorance.

To bask in the glory of the media because the Malaysians have their controlling hand firmly around the throat of your club , forcing re branding & pitting fan against fan is just the saddest thing . We'll gladly take the Premier football & quality managers under the radar while you wait for the media to jump all over the next Malaysian whim to change your club without hesitation .

Firstly the thing is that Cardiff is known as a capital all over the world and altho at the moment we are not the higgest placed team in Wales we are still regarded as the big team and most interested in as the papers have shown .

Wonder what odds on the new manager staying down swansea after he has had a good look at the place ect ect .........about the same as the others i expect ,get away ASAP ....

Who's basking in glory? Cracker you really need to think before putting pen to paper. Read the thread properly and think about it a little.
