Combined Spain/England team?

    Using the two squads as they are (no Wilshere, Carrick or Villa), what would be your combined team for England and Spain?

    Mine would be:

    --------------------Casillas--------------------------

    ---Ramos-----------Terry----Piqué--------Cole-------

    -----------------------Busquets---------------------

    -----------------Xavi-------Fabregas----------------

    ---Silva--------------Rooney---------------Iniesta---


    I know Ramos and Fabregas haven't played there as of yet, but they'd be the best people to go there IMO.

    I don't think any England players would get in at all...Cole maybe

    Which is scary. Plus I think Arteta would be close to starting for England, and he's miles off consideration for Spain.

    You might aswell have a combined spain/egypt team..

    Jokes aside - Hart would be neck and neck with Casillas, Rooney would make the bench and Ashley Cole would be a definite start. Terry could probably get a game.

    My thoughts exactly. What are you fecking smoking? Terry is the poorest centre back we have in the squad. He almost collapsed running after the ball. Of course Ibra is lightening!

    Ramos is far more accomplished than Terry as a centre back and Alba or Arbeloa would be the right back. In midfield none of our players are technically gifted enough to oust any of the first six or seven first choice Spanish midfielders. Up front is more tricky and Rooney is yet to prove himself at a tournament unlike Villa who would surely be first choice if fit.

    I am afraid that I cannot agree with you. Terry is maybe slightly better in the air, however Ramos is quicker, technically better and more versatile. You don't play over 250 games for Real if you are no good. Unfortunately for Terry his age is beginning to show. What is your counter argument :)?
