    What does he ahve to do to get a knighthod, seriously, this is a player that has won 12 pmremier league titles and 2 champions leagues, not many players in today's game can boast a record like that, he does alot of charity work for unicef and doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

    Why do you seem so offended? He's a class A ****, deal with it. If you really think he should get a knighthood that's pretty ****ing worrying, I'd expect it from matth but nobody else.

    I am not saying Giggs should get a knighthood.

    But think about it. Why should a high level civil servant, with a good salary and an excellent pension, doing his boring job for 20-25 years be guaranteed a knighthood? And why should a sportsman get one or not get one because he won two or more olympic medals?
