Not sure about Carroll tbh. Their centre-back pairing is Granqvist and Lustig, both are big, strong, very good in the air but fairly immobile. So on that basis I think they'd enjoy playing against Carroll rather than the likes of Welbeck and Young. I'd like him to play the same team except dropping Milner for Walcott. Got money on a 0-0 but hopefully we'll nick it.
Despite that Sweden concede an alarming number of headed goals so we'll be looking to exploit that, both of Shevvhenko's goals were an example of their weakness in the air. Also, i thought Lustig played full back against Ukraine and Mellberg played in the middle with granqvist?
Everyone's seen my post and gone for it dropped to 19/1 on betfair. Just checked my bet which I put down instantly when holland lost and got a whopping 37/1!! Not bad, 75 quid profit off 2 quid! Actually just double checked that and forgot I put a fiver on them to finish bottom at 5/1 after they beat holland then stuck £2 on 25/1 after holland lost against Germany. 37/1 did sound a bit wacky, I assumed that because my profit screen said £75 on Denmark to finish bottom.
...Except it was Mellberg and Granqvist last week and looks likely to be Mellberg and Olsson tonight.
